We were thrilled that Tyler and Laura won! It got tense when the other team opened their shack before they did but in the end they finished the task sooner. I loved how Tyler was filming selfies as they ran up to the final mat! And how funny that the final three were all blind dates! Looks like that one couple who were eliminated earlier is the only one who seems to have a romantic connection.

So glad Tyler and Laura made it to the finish line first also. I really liked both of them and almost wish they had become more than friends. Very good together. Actually, the order of finish was also my personal order of who I liked the most to the least. A good race.

Pleasantly surprised with the ending! Liked Tyler and Laura so happy for them. We were kinda hopin the Dr would win ust cause he had to put up with her for the whole race and then lost it from her! They seemed to work better in the end.But it was a good race. It will be fun to see what they did next. I didn't see a teaser at the end did they do one?

I was OK with whoever won, even though the nurse was annoying as all heck, she didn't do anything awful enough to make me want her not to win. They all played fair I think and didn't seem to needlessly attack any of the other teams.
Interesting that all 3 were new couples, I would have thought that being in an existing relationship would make it easier to run the race - but it seems not.
I wish TAR would cut out tasks involving animals though, I really hate that about the show, they should take that from Survivor - you don't have to exploit animals to make a reality TV show.

I wish Survivor would stop giving out chickens as a reward. I have seen enough chicken slaughtering scenes, thank you very much!

Oh yes, you're right, I forgot about the chickens. They should definitely stop that too.

My DH thought I lost it when I jumped up off the couch after Laura & Tyler finished the last task and got in the cab. I was very happy for them. They are a cute couple and I wish they would have found love.

I was happy with the outcome as well! Out of the three teams they were my favorite.

I'm super happy with the results. Like some of you, I about jumped off my chair when Tyler and Laura (my gosh, I keep wanting to call her Amy, aka Amy Adams) finished that last task first. When Jenny and Jelani finished that task before them and had so many of the selfies up before T&L even had their combination open, I thought they were done for. They remained really calm though and had a great system going on. Plus it helps that they always stayed calm and supportive with another. Jenny has a tendency to freak out in high stress situations and it can ruin the flow a bit.
I'm wondering if people that were defensive of the nurse (blaming Blair for sort of goading her into acting obnoxious) have changed their mind. She was screaming at him after the tower even though he had nothing to do with the task and was simply listening to her and trying to be supportive. He never once yelled at her, even when she completely screwed up that tower task that probably cost them the race. Would she have been the same? Heck no, she was even yelling at him during HER mistake. I mean she's not the worst person I've ever seen on the race, not by long shot, but I would have hated her as a partner. She was almost unbearably irritating. Even though I feel bad for him, I'm so glad she didn't win.
I was sad to see Mike and Rachelle get eliminated. He was so stinking likable and I warmed up to her as the race progressed. He was overweight and non-athletic and he just really hung in there, worked hard, stayed calm at all times, and was ALWAYS kind and supportive to his partner. It seems she realizes what a great catch he is and that made me happy.
I'm disappointed that Tyler and Laura didn't make a love connection BUT I'm holding out that it could still happen. They look so good together, they seem to enjoy each other's company, come on! It's possible that they didn't want to put it out there during the race and make that the focus. Instead they chose to concentrate on the race and then see where the relationship goes after. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

If Blair had screwed that up, oh man the wrath of hell unleashed on him would have been scary. I was following Tyler on instagram for a bit but he kept posting spoilers for the AR so I had to unfollow for a bit. From what I've seen on there, he's a super nice guy. I'd like to see him on Survivor. I also liked Rachelle and Mike. For them to get as far as they did, very impressive! I agree with the animal scenes.

So happy that they won! And I too hope they realize that they are perfect for each other. What sweet and cute people they are. And they look so darned cute together! The nurse... I still think they showed footage that made her look worse than she actually was. Yes, she was naggy and droned on and on about things, but often times she was right and he would not listen to her and acted like he knew what he was doing when he didn't. It's quite ironic how in the end, she was the one that made the mistake. I wouldn't say I'm defending her, because she did behave badly, I just don't know that it was as bad as the editing made it seem. And you're totally right, jackie, she would have blown a gasket had he "cost them the race" as she said. I have disagree with you jackie (that rarely happens!! ) about Mike and Rachelle. We were happy that they were the eliminated couple. We were not fans. I can't stand whining and I think she's a great big whiner. "I can't. I can't do it." whine, whine, whine. cry, cry, more tears and sobbing. "Ok. I'll try again." more crying. "Oh hey, I did it! I didn't think I could do it and I surprised myself and I did!" overjoyed and so happy! Meanwhile, I'm at home, yelling at the tv, "If you would have just done it and not whined about it for 30 minutes you may have been in first place!!!" (Not that I have a strong opinion about it or anything.... )

I'm really happy Tyler and Laura won. They make such a cute couple and I hope it works out for them (although I wasn't happy he made that comment about the cowgirl ). I hope we get an update on whether or not any of them make it. For some reason I have a feeling that out of all the couples, it will be Haley and Blair (Blair! Blair!).

I was so happy Laura and Tyler won.
The one thing that really pushed Haley to the bottom of my like pile was after the first challenge at AT&T Stadium when Laura and Tyler's cab driver had no idea where they were supposed to go, they decided to wait until the next team came out and then follow them. Haley and Blair came out next and when they saw Laura and Tyler talking to their cab driver, Haley went ballistic. At no point did Laura and Tyler suggest taking their cab, they just were trying to find out where to go (why didn't they use the cab drivers phone to look it up, I'll never know). After they were in the cab and waiting to go, Haley kept saying how schiesty (no idea how to spell that) they were. Hey Haley, it's not like they were trying to steal your cab, they just wanted to follow. I've seen worse people on this show. I felt bad for Laura and Tyler on that because it appeared they got a clueless cab driver. Not only didn't he know where the second challenge was, he had no clue where the bridge was for the pit stop. Luckily one of the other cab drivers clued him in. That's a point where you can't sit and wait for the next team to follow them.

So it's not "sheisty" for them to do it but it is for other teams. I cannot stand her. btw sheisty is not a word. She is an idiot.

Yeah, I forgot about Haley's ridiculous anger over them talking to her cab driver. Yeah, she drove me crazy with her "sheisty" comment, which I actually do think is a word but its usage still annoyed me.
Darn! I thought when Tyler made the comment about having "the hot cowgirl", he was referring to Laura--it gave me hope! So he was actually referring to the real cowgirl that they were assigned?

I guess it means how a shyster acts. LOL. I have never heard anyone actually say that but I guess it's probably a word.

dictionary.com says it's a real word, but slang.
"sheisty adjective
suspicious, shady; sneaky;
also written shiesty, shysty "

Love that Tyler and Laura won. I am ok if it isn't a "love match" but I've said all along they are TARs Jeff and Jordan. Keeping it on the down low until the race was over. Did anyone else notice how touchy he was during the finale?! They were so cute together, and I believe they have a few trips that they won that someone needs to take...just saying... Overall a strong season imo. I could have been happy with any of the final 3 winning.
