My stamp collection is out of control! I was reading about the Avery Elle pockets in a another thread and these seem like they might be a good storage option for me. For those that use these envelopes, how do you store them?

Temporarily, I'm standing them up in plastic shoe boxes I got at Dollar Tree. The containers Jennifer McGuire uses are a bit pricey so I want to look around and weigh my options before I spend that kind of money. My dad is an awesome builder so I may have him help me make lightweight wood boxes.

I use the fridge bins in my Expedit. I've heard the fridge bins are now at WalMart and will guess they might be less costly there I've purchased my at different places, Amazon, Fred Meyer (like Target) and Storables.

I have my stamps that are in the Avery pockets standing up in those photo box holders right now. It was planned as temporary but I might keep it that. Not an exact fit but in my budget - especially since I have like 5 in my closet from the last sale unused lol.

Thanks everyone! I just ordered a couple of packages of the envelopes and will decide how to store them later. I do like the look of the fridge binz but, depending on how many I need, I'm not sure I want to pay that much. I never thought to check Bed Bath & Beyond for them - I did check both Amazon and Wal-mart and they're cheaper (by about a dollar) at Amazon at the moment.

I have a similar system using Tim Holtz pockets standing up in boxes that are I think designed for photo storage. They're a bit wider than the pockets and long enough to hold about 50-60 so I can flip through them easily.

I stand them up in metal wire bins on my cube shelf.

I love the fridge binz! They are a little pricey, but the envelopes fit really. Well.

You ladies are very convincing - I headed off to Bed, Bath & Beyond first thing this morning (armed with a 20% off coupon) to look for the fridge binz. They had tons of styles of the bins, but not the one I wanted Same thing at Marshalls; lots of fridge binz but not the right style. I consoled myself by going to HL and buying more stamps!

All the scrapbookers have bought them all up And what new stamps did you get? You know we need to know!

And what new stamps did you get? You know we need to know! I was actually very good and got just one tiny travel stamp set, to use on my NYC and Italy layouts - $1.50 on the clearance rack!

I cut them down and I'm storing them in my 4-drawer units from Michaels. I did buy a knockoff though since they are almost exactly identical to avery elle but about half the price (I bought one pkg of avery elle to compare).

I've been considering the pockets for my stamps, I found a large rectangular wire basket with liner from recollections that I've put my stamps in. But I think I'd want those Crafter Companions CD storage panels.
I want to get more of the baskets as they're the perfect size for 6x6 paper pads, and I was going to do my manual die collection too.
