Silly me. Bought a gopro thinking that would be it. Nope. Gotta buy memory. Ok. Then the bike mount. Realized the battery sucked so I had to buy the battery bacpac. Then I bought extra batteries and a charger. And then the stuff started taking up space so I bought a small case. Then I wanted a chesty so I could film the kids when we do stuff. Then the wrist strap so I could use it under water. And then the gopole. And the floaty backdoor.
So do I need anything else?? Anyone else have one? I absolutely love this but I hope I don't find anything else I need.

I like to use the chest strap on hikes and the car mount on long trail drives.

The car mount is on my wish list. I'm looking at anti fog strips now though lol

Oh boy! My DS requested a GoPro for his graduation gift. Haven't ordered it yet. I did not realize it came with a bajillion accessories. Now I'm beginning to question tge wisdom in getting this for him. Although he did promise to let me use it every once in a great while. ;-)

How is the video? My husband wants one. He wouldn't really be filming something really close up. I keep seeing reviews that the video isn't as good at distances. It's not a huge distance.

SRP CY filter (underwater colour correction), SRP polarizing filter, SRP tray, GoPole Grenade Grip, LCD Touch BacPac, and Jaws Flex Clamp.
ETA. I have (and love) the GoPole Reach but I find it has some stability issues in the water (great on land). For swimming, I prefer the SRP Tray.

I was skipping the lcd bacpac since I can use the wifi and see it on my phone. Is there anything I really need it for? The clamp is on my maybe list. The videos are fine if you are close but there's no zoom so if the subject is far away I haven't figured out how to get a good movie yet. |

I use the App for playback and the LCD screen to frame the shot.
You can't zoom the video, but you do have the choice of a wide, medium or narrow field.
