I have mine in a plastic bag with elastic bands around major color groups, but this always leaves me searching for the colors. Is there a better way?

I have mine divided by color in acrylic boxes from The Container Store. I just went to look for them and they don't show up on their site.

I use a revolving utensil holder that I found at Target in their summer stuff a few years ago. It has 3 compartments and holds my set of 120 pencils, it was purple(!), and only cost $10. I bought a second one for my Copics.

Mine are not divided. I only have prisma color so I only have one brand and they simply stand in a jar. My watercolor pencils are done the same way. Only my copics are divided into color groups. But then, I am not good at precise organization. For instance my sister had little boxes for each color of eyelet. For me, a jar that had all my eyelids was just fine.
I know my limitations. I love to set up organizational things but I'm not great at maintaining them. So I try to set up what I know I can handle. Of course, my organization drive my sister nuts! ETA: Can't get back to change the eyelids. I really do not store my eyelids in a jar but I do store my eyelets in a hard.

Well none of the links seem to go right to it, but I DID find it and ordered them. I'll post a pic when I set up some pencils. Since Ive been using them a lot, the other day I made little labeled swatches of the names and color samples for each pencil. That makes it a lot easier when I'm looking for a particular color of pencil. I'm thinking I'll put them inside the container with the pencils.

There are only 8 colors; red, blue, green, orange, violet, brown, gray & black. Organization is for those who are too darned lazy to look for stuff.

If it said "I'm organized because I'm too lazy to look for stuff" then I would agree, but that's not what it says. I'm organized in my craft room and it has nothing to do with laziness, it has to do with efficiency, so that broad statement offended me.

I read it that he is NOT organized and thus has to waste time looking for stuff! I'm 100% sure that it was a joke, not meant to offend the highly organized and efficient among us. (And, seriously, organization takes WORK on the front end to get set up!)

I've been trying to figure this out myself. Right now, I have most of my inktense in a pencil roll-up and my prismas in a couple of global art pencil cases. Wish I had the space to keep them out. The global arts can be got cheaply at Hobby Lobby, but they are a tight squeeze - safe for the pencils, but kinda inconvenient.

“Organized people are just too lazy to go looking for what they want.” A. Einstein. I just modified it a bit. I am not unorganized, but my studio is severely disheveled at times (ok, a lot of the time) There are 8 colors; red, green, blue, orange, yellow, violet, brown, and black. They were in my first box of Crayola crayons. I did not intend to hurt anyone's feelings.

I have an old pepsi crate turned on its side. I then separate the markers by color family. My copics have their own plastic storage container that they came in when you bought 72 at one time.
