On the NSBR board someone complained about a box store showing Thanksgiving and Christmas inventory already.
As a crafter I prefer stores that stock holiday inventory all year round. That way I don't have to put my desire to create off season on hold until stock comes in. And sometimes I don't get to shop at the right time or sometimes seasonal stock doesn't match what I had in mind.
I find it easier to look at what is available right now and then create with that in mind. I know I can always add to my creations if something new comes in closer to the season.
How do you feel about off season inventory in craft stores.

I like to be able to get seasonal stuff throughout the year. I like to make Christmas cards in the summer. I don't want the rush of making cards going along with everything else that has to be done as we near Christmas season.

I also prefer having it out all year. I buy more Christmas/winter stamps when it's not the Christmas season then during! Same for Easter and the other holidays.

it makes sense for craft stores to have holidays all year, especially christmas with Christmas in July around the corner.

I have been inventorying my fall and winter stamps and Evernote. I don't think I need to worry about what is in the stores because I could stamp for years with the stamps that I have!
