Our weekend started off great. We met with the lady who is buying the new house we looked at and want to rent. We are now the renters of a brand new house. We are moving in the weekend of June 12th. We have a lot of packing to do but hopefully We have enough time to get it all done.
We are hiring a moving company to come and do the actual moving. We are looking for a storage unit so we can store all the seasonal stuff that is taking up most of our garage now so that when we move we can have a garage and not a storage unit attached to our house. We to take the hot tub with us. do to the house being brand new there are no window treatments on the windows so we get to pretty much put up what we want to. We want blinds.
In all this my back issues got worse. To the point where I couldn't sit. I couldn't stand and laying sown was very painful. I was trying really hard to make until my doctors appointment this afternoon. But I didn't make it, at 11:30 saturday night husband had to take me to the ER. Once we got there I had to stand in major pain. I asked the lady at the desk if they had something I could lay on she said I had to wait. I couldn't sit. I stood there in pain for 3 hours. I leaned on the back of a chair for a while but the pain got worse and then I would have to walk around. I was to the point of falling to the floor by the time I got called back. once back in a room the doctor looked at me and said I had to see a surgeon, he gave me pills and sent me home. We finally got home at 5:30 in the morning. I have an appointment on Wednesday morning with the surgeon.
I still cant sit I can't drive. I cant do anything but lay here on my side,
Hope everybody is having a good day...

Oh, I'm sorry that you're in so much pain. I'm hoping that the surgeon can offer relief w/o surgery. There's never a good time for back pain.

I had spinal stenosis pretty bad and had surgery to fix that last April. I am SOOOOOOO much better than I was but feel like within the next year or two I will have to do it again on the OTHER side. Do you have any idea what the problem with your back is yet?

When it rains, it pours, doesn't it? I'm so sorry you're having to face surgery while planning to move. Even with movers to do the actual moving it is still tons of work to set up a new household. I hope it all works out for you and you recover soon. Good luck.

Thank you ladies. I went to my primary doctor this afternoon. Had the appointment already and didn't want to cancel it. She was very helpful and changed my prescription 4o morphine. She said most of the time people with my allergy to both codiene and synthetic codiene have little to no problems with morphine but most doctors don't like prescribing it and they will never prescribe morphine in an er. We are waiting for the pharmacy to text husband so he can go pick it up. I am thinking positively about this move. I know there is a lot of work but I do have great help and everybody knows I am very limited on what I can do

That must be so frustrating. I seem to recall that the house will be easier for you to manage so hopefully you won't have a really hard time getting to that point!

Well, this morning is not as painful as yesterday morning but I didn't sleep through my midnight pills so when I woke up at 4:30 to tak my pills I had a better time getting the pills working. My morphine is still not filled because the pharmacy didn't get ahold of the doctor's before the office closed yesterday so I am hoping I get them before I go in for my MRI. In bed watching army wives. Getting ready to go back to sleep hopefully.

I really hope you get relief soon. Your emergency room visit sounds miserable. Where I live, we now have free standing emergency rooms all over the place. I also have 2 hospitals about a mile from me in different directions. If someone needs an emergency room around here, you can probably get one that you can walk right into with no more than a 5 minute drive since they are every where.
Yea on the house!! Also glad to hear that you have a lot of help getting things ready to move.
