I hate the smell of that place. Yes, it's overpowering. I went into a store not long ago because I had heard good things about their lip scrub. The smell just about knocked me over. And they were out of lip scrub.

And they were out of lip scrub. I forgot about the lip scrub. I tried it and it was fun. It is basically a fine sugar product that you rub on your lips, and then you lick it off. It tastes like buttered popcorn. I think that it's more of a novelty product than anything particularly exfoliating. That said... within a couple of weeks of using it I had a cold sore. I doubt that there was any causal connection, but after that I couldn't use it again.

I used to use their stuff when I lived in Toronto about 15 years ago. I LOVED the pink coconut soap, but then they discontinued it. I still order a box of goodies from time to time. DS loves the bath bombs.

Thanks for the info--it doesn't sound like it's what I'm looking for in a lip exfoliant

I've never heard of it, but bath bombs sound intriguing

I love their bath bombs but unfortunately I've stopped taking baths because of the drought in Southern California. Don't worry, I still shower .

Most of their scented products are too strong for my taste, but I do love some of their face products. I have very sensitive skin and most store bought products cause some kind of reaction. I love their Enchanted eye cream and their Celestial and Skins Shangri La moisturizer. I also have a really hard time with drug store toners being too harsh and the Tea Tree Water at Lush is great.
One of the scented products I do like is the Lemony Flutter. It's great for dry hands and feet.
I've never had an issue with pushy sales people there. I go in knowing what I want though. I'm usually in and out in about 5 minutes.

I love Lush! I love the 9 to 5 cleanser (Ultrabland is the heavier one was too much but I tried it), liquid shower gels (not jellies) rose and the olive branch, flying fox ones have been my favorites and skin drink (I think that is the name of it) is what I use for my facial moisturizer. I have bought the You Snap the Whip bar soap and haven't used it but oh my gosh I love the smell. I keep it on my counter and smell it often. That store just makes me happy. Oh and the dry shampoo I LOVE! I don't love the container it is in but I still use it and it is amazing! It last forever and ever.

Living in Utah, my lips are always chapped, and I use the scrub 3-4 times a week. It's the only lip product I've ever used that helps, and I've tried a lot! I am prone to cold sores, but the lip scrub doesn't trigger it for me. (Otherwise, I'd be a constant cold sore mess!)

I usually just use my Handy Gurugu and call it a day. I don't think it smells all that lemony, though. I think it smells like band aids.

Back in the late 80's early 90's some of the LUSH had s company called cosmetics to go. I loved their stuff and owned nearly the whole range. I was so sad when it folded and although I was happy to see some of their range reappear as LUSH. I really miss their make-up. We do buy their stuff l, but I buy online as the stores are a smell overload

I splurged on my birthday and bought the Bubble Gum Lip Scrub, Ocean Salt and Ro's Argan Body Conditioner. DD was with me and I got her one of the massage bars. It was the first time I bought anything there. I would love to buy their products exclusively but I usually don't want to pay their prices.
