I've bought some bath bombs for dd before, but she got me a kit for Mother's Day and I am hooked! I went back and bought shampoo, the ocean scrub and a second massage bar. So far, The Olive Branch shower gel and the Rehab shampoo. Any products you'd recommend?

OMG talk about hard sell. I like their products ok but I can't stand how pushy those people are. It's easier to get out of a used car lot than it is to escape Lush without having someone try to rub something on you.
I love the lotion massage bars but they don't last long before they break into bits.

My dd is obsessed with them. She made me go in with her and I came out with a body conditioner, which I like very much, and a "silk stockings" bar to rub on my legs when I wear a dress. Nice products, but pricy!

The smell makes me sick when I walk by their store, but I always buy their shampoo cake when we travel.

I love the fresh face masks and they had a rose skin shampoo and conditioner a few months ago that I wish i'd stocked up on. You can't go wrong with the bombs, we always bring a bomb and a bubble bar or two that coordinate on girls trips and drink a bottle of wine in a bubble bath.

My daughters are obsessed with Lush. They have bath bombs and a couple of creamy things. I like the smells, but it seems really pricey to me.

I like the chocolate mint and blueberry masks, but you can't order them online.
And OMG I JUST FOUND OUT THEY'RE GOING TO OPEN A SHOP TWO MILES FROM ME. AWESOME.
(Found that out because I went to look up what else I like-- the aqua mirabilis body butter bar. Doesn't last long, though.)

It's easier to get out of a used car lot than it is to escape Lush without having someone try to rub something on you. I love the lotion massage bars but they don't last long before they break into bits. I like a lot of their products, but totally agree about the hard sell. I've tried quite a bit. I like most of the bar soaps I've tried. My current favorite is Somewhere Over the Rainbow. I also love Sultana of Soap, Sea Vegetable, and Magnificent. Around the holidays they have Snowcake, which is also a favorite of mine. I like the Karma scent, but when I bought that one, it was so powerfully scented that you could smell it throughout the house and I never heard the end of it from my family. So I'm done with that one. The shower gels are nice-- I also like Olive Branch, It's Raining Men, and Happy Hippy. The shower gellies are fun and lather surprisingly well, but are a pain to use. It's a novelty but not really worth it. I did not care for the Buffy body bar because it made my shower extremely greasy and slippery. Rub Rub Rub is a fine sea salt scrub that lathers well. A little goes a long way. I wasn't crazy about the scent at first but I do like it. I've used one of the massage bars (Each Peach and Two's a Pair) and liked it ok. My favorite product at Lush is the 'old' Charity Pot (I tried a sample of the 'new' Charity Pot and didn't like the scent at all). The 'old' charity pot is now sold in a bottle and is called "Formulae Known As". I LOVE the scent and the texture of the lotion. I don't like the squeeze bottle, so I just dump the contents into my previous black pot, and it works just fine that way. I have the Handy Gurugu hand cream on my nightstand. I love the texture and the richness of the cream. The scent takes some getting used to. I tried a couple of the masks once, but they were very irritating to my skin. I don't think most of the ingredients are particularly good for skin or gentle, but they do feel good when they are on and initially rinsed off.

They can definitely be pushy. LOL
I like the fact that the products are handmade and really fresh. The shampoo is pricey, but I don't need much compared to the other stuff where I feel I need to use a lot. There's something about using a product that's "real" vs. a bottle of chemicals. The scents are very clean and last much longer.
I actually bought a shampoo bar a while back but have never used it. Glad to hear someone likes it!

I went to the store once but that was enough for me. 18 yo DD loves it though but it's a bit too "perfumy" for my taste. 15 yo DS even likes some of the stuff. DD had to get items to make a basket for the silent auction for band and the flute section decided on Lush stuff. It's rainbow themed so they got something of every color. Should go for a good price I hope.
I didn't think our lady was too pushy. However, it was odd that they say they try to reduce packaging and gave us a massive bag for a few items. I also didn't like that it seemed like you had to buy one of their tins to store some of the products so they wouldn't melt by being too wet.

no, I cannot stand the smell of the store - instant headache! I can't even walk past it in close proximity. My dd loves it though so I wait outside while she goes in. Thankfully there isn't one in my city so its rare that we're near one

My bathroom looks like a Lush store. DD cannot resist spending her entire income there every month. Not really, but that's what it looks like. She often gets free samples, which are a decent size, but that just encourages her to buy more. I haven't noticed any hard selling, but DD can spend without any encouragement, so a hard sell is not required.

My 15 year old daughter loves that store. The bath bombs and the other bath stuff that's in a disk shape and you cut up before you use it. It does last a while, but it's pricey. I end up spending a fortune getting stuff for her Christmas stocking and then her easter basket there.I love the bubblegum smell I usually get when I go there. I hate that the stores not big enough, even a couple shoppers and a couple employees all end up in each others way b/c of the tiny spot they're in, and the set up. I would like to check out other items, but usually meet her out after getting what I went for b/c I can't deal with the lack of space, and sometimes touchy people!

We have used LUSH products since they first started in England way back in the 70's and supplied The Body Shop with some products, and then went out on their own, and we still use them today! All through those years I've used the shampoo bars, shower gels and bath bombs....and tried just about everything else they make! The only things I won't use now are the bath bombs with the flowers or glitter in them.....too much bath cleaning after those!

I can't even walk in to the shop without becoming a sneezy, dribbly eyed mess. Not sure what triggers it!

I really like it but they are hours away from us.
My dog is with the bombs I need to fully scrub the tub when I'm done. I usually bust a bomb into pieces and use maybe 1/5th but it still makes a huge mess.
Like another posted I like Buffy and some other massage bars but they are greasy so cannot be used for safety in the shower.

I used to love it!
Before it was available in the US, I always brought a bag of stuff back to the US for friends and family.
Then I got pregnant... now I will walk to the other side of the mall to avoid the smell!

I love to look at the LUSH displays, and I've bought bath bombs as gifts for a friend, but I'm not crazy about them. One time someone gave the a bath bomb from LUSH and it had lavender TWIGS in it. My tub was filled with TWIGS!!! I couldn't pull the plug on the tub until I scooped all the damned things out. Annoyed me to no end.
Funny story, I was in Germany last summer as my husband had a business trip there and I got to go along. One day I took the train to a small town that had a historic old town area. Beautiful architecture, a walled town with curving cobblestone streets leading up to an ancient schloss on the top of the hill. I was so excited, there were all these little shops and I couldn't wait to dive in and see all these unique and wonderfully German items for sale. No, the first shop I came to was LUSH, the second was Delias. This wonderful little town and all the ancient buildings had modern shops! I was so disappointed.

Christmas and Mother's Day) of the same thing because I love it. Rose Jam shower gel, Ro's Argan, Ultrabalm, Rose Bombshell bath bomb and Rose Jam Bubbleroon (which I love). Lush is one of my favorite stores. Karma perfume (which smells odd in the bottle but delicious when worn), Seanik shampoo and Veganese conditioner, and my other favorite scent combo, Flying Fox shower gel with Lust perfume. Very jasmine, Moulin rouge rich. I keep hinting for the Imogen Rose perfume so maybe my birthday.

My entire family loves LUSH. I always say whenever I am depressed I just need to go to a LUSH store, lol. My husband used to call it "that hipppy soap store" (lovingly of course) until he got totally hooked on their Honey I washed the kids soap. Have you smelled that stuff, OMG yum!
Maybe in Australia they are different, but I have been to a number of Lush stores here and no one is ever pushy, they are super helpful, but never push. My bathroom also looks like a Lush store. We even buy the bitty baby bot bath bombs for my 4 year old. They are shaped like a robot and smell like lavender. He loves them! Lush is a tad pricey, but I always break my bath bombs and bubble bars up into smaller portions. The shampoo bars last AGES and are cheaper than buying a good shampoo, the one I am using these days makes my hair so shiny and lustrous. They are cruelty free, and ethically source all of their ingredients. i also notice everything is made in Australia (for the Australian stores) and has a cute sticker telling you who made it. I have tried heaps of their products and only found one I didn't like much at all. Here is a list of loves:
-shampoo bars -American Cream hair conditioner -bumblebee bath bomb -marshmellow melts -bubbleroons -bubblebars -Honey I washed the kids soap -Rockstar soap -basically most of their soap lol, just pick on you like the smell of! -Angels on bare skin cleanser ...I love this exfoliant, gentle and no plastic beads which are bad for the marine animals -Aqua Marina cleanser: I use that one on days I don't exfoliate, gentle but cleansing -Rose Argan body conditioner (makes you feel all silky! Great for legs after you shave)

I haven't tried much but what I have tried I like.
The bath bombs - awesome. Purple (lavender?) shampoo bar. It's been a few years since I've been there.
I am allergic to cocoa butter, so I have to be careful about their products and ask about ingredients.

I am in LOVE with their facial products. I'm a 40-something year old still suffering from acne. Last June I went into Lush for the first time and bought some products.......my face has never looked better. I'm even comfortable leaving the house without makeup. My favorites are Ultrabland, Tea Tree Water and Vanishing Cream. The Ocean Salt is awesome and smells great. I've also used their bubble bars and bath bombs.

I love EVERYTHING Lush has. And I've probably bought everything. My absolute favorite item is a seasonal one, Snow Fairy shower gel. I stalk the stores about the beginning of November just waiting to get enough to last me until next November.

Oh and when I got my latest batch of Rose stuff (which I love), I asked if they noticed the Yummy Mummy shower gel. No one did. Clearly my family doesn't have the same love for it that I do, since I try or touch every little thing when I'm there.
