Well Spring is here. No more hiding under big sweaters so I have to go bra shopping to get some bras that actually fit. The ones I am currently wearing are stretched out I believe. I hate going. I want a racer back to wear with tanks and something to look good under a T-shirt. I an going to start at Kohl's and probably not end up anywhere else today. Thanks for your support. LOL. Get it

Go to a store where you can get fitted. I like Nordstrom's. They do all of the work for you!

If you've got big jugs skip the shenanigans and just head to Soma

If you've got big jugs skip the shenanigans and just head to Soma Hmm. There is a relatively new one in the mall. I have never tried them. Off to look up their stuff online. Thanks!!

One of the best things I ever did was make the decision to get measured by someone who knew what they were doing! Makes all the difference in being comfortable. I went to JcPenny and the woman was great!

Went in for a professional fitting and found I was wearing a band too large and cups too small. It certainly makes a difference in the fit and lift to be wearing the correct size!

Yep, I highly recommend getting a fitting. I have never had one done before until last month and I was wearing the right size, but the wrong cup.

Good luck. My son stopped nursing 2 years ago and I swear I've spent the entire time trying to find the perfect bra.

I didn't get to go today but I'm not working Friday so I'm going to try to go to the mall because I'll have more time. I have a feeling it will take a while. I might just try Soma first though.

If you are going shopping at Kohl's, they do have bra fittings from various companies. You should check online. My Kohl's is having one soon from Vanity Fair. I like their bras but I went to a fit event last summer. She put me in a bra that fits me odd; it spreads me way too much. When I get to my goal weight, I'll treat myself to a Soma fitting. It's quite a trip for me to get to one. Good luck with your search.

I have a friend who is ahem, well endowed. She told me once, you just can't be cheap about a bra when you're my size. This was when we were broke and in college. While I'm not as endowed as she was, I would agree with being properly fitted, and spending some money on a quality bra. As Tim Gunn says, you have to have a good foundation! lol

Good luck. I used to hate bra shopping then last fall I had to find a strapless bra to go under a formal dress for ds's wedding, and I am full figured. someone suggested a specialty store in our area - went in, and for the first time I probably have everyday bras that really fit. And the nice thing is that they were no more expensive than the ones in the department stores. I will never go back to the department stores! (and yes I found the strapless I needed)
If you have a store that specializes in bras try it, I found it well worth my time.

I've never had good luck at Soma. Nordstrom all the way. However, I am a 32 band and a G cup. Soma couldn't help me. Lol
