I never smoked or did any type of drugs because I had an older brother that died of a drug overdose at 22. I was pretty young and that reality really rocked my world. All of my siblings either smoked, drank and/or did all kinds of various drugs so if I wanted to I probably could have but I never had any desire to throw my life away like my brother did. My parents and most of my siblings smoked and I always thought it was disgusting. I never even had a sip of beer or wine until I was almost legal. I have been drunk but don't like the feeling of being out of control of myself or any situation, and don't like the taste of wine, beer or most hard liquor.
Then I met DH and both of his parents were alcoholics. By the time we got married four years later I was more or less a teetotaler. We didn't even have a glass of champagne at our own wedding reception because we didn't want them to get stupid drunk and embarrass us. I've had exactly one glass of champagne in probably the last 25 years.
I don't even drink caffeine anymore. Sugar/carbs are my drugs of choice.

I'm in my mid 30's. I've never smoked or did any drugs. The first time that I drank alcohol was in my mid 20's. I usually drink on vacation and the occasional dinner out.

I am vanilla. Pot is legal here and I still have no desire to try it. I drink on spring break with my kids. Woot. Can't stop won't stop!

I was about as square as they come. Still am. At 52 I've never been drunk. Never had more than 2 drinks at a time (one time it might have been 3), and I only have a drink about 15 times a year. Unless we go to Hawaii. Then I try to have 1 or 2 a day; love my pina coladas! At 48 I'd never tried a cigarette, never smoked pot. And of course nothing "worse" than that. One night my daughter was outside smoking, and I'm not sure what came over me, but I tried her joint and her cigarette. The cigarette (one or two puffs) was just as disgusting as I thought it would be. The pot (two puffs) was pretty awful too. I hate the taste of it. I recently tried using a pipe for the pot; yep, still hate the taste. So I bought some lemon drop pot candies, and they are tolerable. You see I don't want to get high, but I suffer with a lot of nausea, and some migraines, and I want to use pot for that. Walking into a pot shop was a kick, I can tell you! Later this week I'm going to one of the medical pot dispensaries, because I now have my green card, so I can buy medicinal marijuana. I live in Washington state, so recreational use is legal here too. Yeah, I don't know what happened.

I smoked for about a year as a teen, I tried a joint once but it had absolutely no effect on me so I didn't want to bother again. I've been around people who were doing stronger drugs but I was never interested. My 20s and 30s were full of drunken nights out, clubbing til 3 or 4 in the morning, rowdy gigs and one night stands. I had a lot of fun and some stonking hangovers!

I've never smoked or taken 'recreational' drugs. I saw a lot of it amongst friends and colleagues when I was a student nurse ( I saw A LOT of people, especially male nurses, stealing drugs from the drugs trolley.) I saw lot of silly risk taking behaviour and was frequently covering other people's work or shifts because they either didn't come To work after such a night or were useless when they did come in. It completely put me off.
I have had morphine after major surgery and had horrible nightmares/saw things like faces in the curtians etc. hated it. I have made it clear for my next surgery that I don't want morphine at all and in fact , IV acetaminophen (Tylenol) works well for me.

Cigarette smoke is a huge turn off for me, so there's no reason I'd be interested in that. Nyquil gives me a hangover so I don't like to take that unless I'm deathly ill- not interested in alcohol. Last summer I was with someone who was trying a beer, and it smelled terrible- why would I want that? I do live in CO so I could get marijuana if I wanted to, but I don't. I wouldn't have any idea of where to get any other drugs.
My "drug" of choice- chocolate. Though I'm finding that my stomach doesn't tolerate some chocolate like it used to.
ETA- I worked with a girl who told a story of a party she went to. The party was in the attic above a friend's garage. She had had a bit to drink that night and jumped up suddenly, without noticing how low the ceiling was. When she jumped up, she hit the ceiling hard enough to knock her out! She was laughing about it at work on Monday, but that was a big turn-off for me to ever drink. I'm child #3 in my family, so I tend to learn from the examples of others without experimenting with something on my own. I've heard and seen enough to know those things aren't for me.

Me, never smoked, drank or did illegal drugs. I never saw the appeal, still don't.
I could never figure out why it was fun to drink and puke. Do drugs and not remember.Smoke cigarettes and smell. But heck to each is own. I think I came out better never having tried them and I have no regrets to not having done them.

Add me to the list. Never had any interest. Can't see how it would be worth the risk or cost.

I was always afraid of getting in trouble when I was a teen, and I was not popular so I never went to any parties where alcohol and smoking were the norm. I snuck into a bar a week before my 21st birthday and I was so petrified of getting caught it wasn't even a fun night. After turning 21 I had a few years where I went clubbing and frequently got drunk, but no smoking, no pot and definitely no drugs. When I was 23, DH tried to get me to smoke pot a couple times but I failed miserably...couldn't get the inhaling part down so it had no effect on me. I do drink wine and beer socially though...LOVE my wine!

Add me to the "never Smoked pot" club.
My son and several friends just can't believe that I haven't tried it and some of my sons friends( in their late 20's) have offered to get some for me. I have a super funny story around that offer at my son's rehearsal dinner. :-)
My best friend and I have both said we would it together in the right company and at home where we are safe. but, her husband is a state trooper and my BF is a firefighter, and neither of them are willing to risk a drug test( I don't blame them)
I had this very conversation with a friend I went to dinner with who was in disbelieve. I must appear to the quite the rebel.

I've done my share of drinking, but I have never used illegal drugs. I never even drank alcohol until I was legal age (18 at the time in WV). ETA: As for tobacco, there was that one drunken night when I smoked five cigars on a bet. That experience pretty much sealed the deal for me with tobacco, and I never smoked again.

I've never tried anything other than cigarettes. And drinks I guess. I don't drink very often though. I did however get buzzed once (according to my coworkers) from a police evidence room I was working in one day. It was absolutely stuffed with huge boxes of pot. The quartermaster who had been working in there for 20 years had 2 days off due to illness for the first time ever, due to the amount of pot also, so I guess it wasn't just me lol! I'll never forget the smell of it now though.

I drank quite a bit in high school and college and also had friends who used other drugs, but I always refused. I've never had a desire to try anything and don't even care to drink most is the time now.

Me... I don't drink, smoke or do any type of drugs. I never have. I wasn't in the crowd in HS that did those things and I didn't do any partying in college. I think all my friends thought I was too straight-laced to even invite me, lol.
Smoking never interested me. The smell of cigarette smoke makes me sick to my stomach. My mother and father both smoked at one point in their lives but both quit when I was young.
I've had a sip of alcohol five times in my 43 years. A sip of champagne from my SIL's glass when I was maybe 11, a sip of wine at a progressive dinner when I was 16, a sip of a wine cooler at an after party for a play I was in when I was 17, an accidental sip of my mother's burbon around the same age (I thought it was iced tea, lol), and a sip of wine last year when my SIL wanted me to try it to see if I agreed with her about the taste.
I sometimes wonder what I'm missing out on when I hear my girlfriends talk about relaxing with a glass of wine or going out and having drinks at a girls-night-out thing, but I've never wondered enough to actually start drinking. An old HS friend of mine offered a few years ago to "spot" me if I wanted to see what it was like to get drunk, but I never took them up on it. I don't think I really want to find out.

No drugs or smoking here. Never thought about it. Drinking is another story. I wasn't an alcoholic but I did drink.
ETA: Damn, I just made Beastly Member. Blush!

-I have never smoked (had several family members who did and I couldn't stand the smell) -never had the notion to do drugs -never been drunk(after seeing the stupid things some of my friends did while drunk when we were teens, I decided I wasn't going down that road...plus the hang overs they suffered weren't pretty either)
I do have a drink or two a few times a year.

I have never tried any illegal drugs or drank alcohol (except for a sip at a wedding or New Year's Eve) or tried a cigarette.
To be honest, those things just do not appeal to me in any way.

My son and several friends just can't believe that I haven't tried it and some of my sons friends( in their late 20's) have offered to get some for me. LOL. I have had several adult friends over the years who are just blown away by the fact that I'm a grown up who doesn't drink. One person I knew would always say how fun/funny it would be to get me totally drunk and always tried to encourage me to do so full well knowing my reasons why I don't (family history of strong addictive behaviors, etc.). What's up with that? I really don't get why would that be funny. I've been there, done that, it's not "fun" for me and I have no desire to ever feel that way again. Needless to say, I'm not friends with that person anymore. All of my good friends just let it ride, like I do if they want to drink around me. I have no problem whatsoever with other people having a drink or three, but I don't really want to be around anyone who gets so drunk they're out of control.

Me. I have no moral opposition to drugs or tobacco products, I just hated what asthma medicine did to me as a kid, and I think that put me off taking anything else. I do like a good, salty margarita every few months or so, but that's as wild as I get.

I've never smoked and I have never done drugs. I have zero tolerance of recreational drug taking. I do drink socially though, not on a regular basis but usually a glass of wine with a meal or a night out with DH kind of thing. I haven't been drunk since I was at college.

I never smoked, my grandfather did, and I saw what it did to him.
I didn't drink until I was in my mid 20s, and I rarely ever have a drink because of my pancreatitis and interactions with the meds I'm taking.
My brother and friend did drugs when I was a teen, and I saw all the stupid things they did.
If pot was legal in my state, I would take it for my chronic pain and muscle spasms--it's good for MS. I would try the edibles first. I've still heard that smoking pot is really bad for you.
I've been hospitalized for mediastynal emphysema from being around tobacco smoke, so I'm not tempted to smoke anything.
I do understand why people like some drugs, like morphine or dilaudid. When you're in severe pain, you don't get the euphoria. I get pain relief but no euphoria when I have to go to the hospital for pancreatitis. I'm glad that it helps the pain--I was never a fan of the high that dilaudid gives you.

When I had my first baby, I had a lot of pain after and the nurses urged me to try a Percocet. I agreed to a half dose & ended up "floating above the bed" for hours. I was miserable! So when I had to have my hyster I was terrified of the morphine. I was right, it was way worse than the pain. If I every have another surgery I'm going to refuse it until I'm awake, then decide if I want it.
I can't even take Ambien

I smoked cigarettes, but only after I met my DH, so I was about 20 and quit before I got pregnant at 28. I've never tried any drugs. Never smoked pot or taken any other illegal substances. The drinking age was 18 when I was young. I did buy a bottle of wine at a liquor store when I was 17, shame on me. But other than that I am straight laced. I was a "good" girl when I was younger lol! I waited until I was 50 to get a tattoo, my DD and I got one at the same time!
