I need a new strappy walking sandal. Anyone have pair they love? I was looking at Chacos online. I've got old Keen and Merrells, but feel like something different. Headed to REI soon, hoping for sale or to use my coupon.

I like Naots. I've Gorilla-glued mine back together, after they started failing 10+ years into service. These are the ones I have . I like that 1. There's nothing between the toes and 2. I can adjust the width, because of narrow feet.

I have flatter than flat feet, so I need to have good, supportive shoes. Just purchased a pair of Taos brand sandals and they're great. Don't look like orthopedic shoes, even have a bit of subtle bling on them. These are the ones I have. Taos Sandals

I love my chacos and sanuks. When I buy chacos again I wouldn't get the full sandal with the big toe slot though.

I have some Clarks that are supportive and comfy -- but not so "casual" -- rather like these: www.zappos.com/clarks-lucena-black-leatherI got some Ecco brand from Amazon that are also supportive and more casual. And I freely admit that I am stunned at myself recommending "expensive" shoes. But I bought a pair of Keens for a trip where I knew athletic shoes wouldn't be acceptable and where we would be doing a lot of walking and I've never gone back to "inexpensive" shoes. For me, there is a difference. Now, if I could find a shoe that was "as supportive and comfortable" and *less* expensive, well ... I'd have more shoes!

I wear Merrell's and FitFlops 80% of the time, but also like ABEO and Ecco.

I think I've actually tried them before, but sent them back for some reason.

Call me middle aged! Actually, I think it's the reason I haven't had PF since about 1997... I have several pairs of Clarks sandals and shoes too. It's a brand I feel comfortable ordering online due to size consistency for me.

Love my Danskos! I needed a pair of white sandals and just bought a pair of rockports - they are to die for comfy! I also have Keens that are more casual.

I just bought a pair of Vionics sandals. I think they used to be called Orthoheels? Anyway, they have great arch support, and I think will be good for walking, although I haven't had them long enough to give them a good workout. I have seen them referenced often as good shoes for those with Plantar Fasciitis. I am another one that loves my Merrells and Keens, but the vionics are a bit less orthopedic looking.
