Michael Brown would have turned 19 today...
"Michael Brown’s father says a plaque will be placed in the sidewalk on Canfield Drive near where Michael Brown was shot and killed. Ferguson Mayor James Knowles III says a permanent place to remember Michael Brown may be set up near the Canfield Green Apartment complex.Canfield Drive is where Brown, who was black, was shot and killed by white police officer Darren Wilson, touching off often violent protests and a national “Black Lives Matter” movement. Wilson later resigned. The removal of the memorial coincidentally falls on what would have been Michael Brown’s 19th birthday."
