Ok, so I went to Target this afternoon because ran out of toiletries. I needed to buy body wash, feminine wash, toothpaste, etc. I usually stock up so that I don't have to go back for a month or so.
Anyway, there was a new feminine wash. Initially, I thought the scent was ok. So I put three in my cart. They each had a 1.00 off coupon so I took them off the bottles. In the midst of shopping, I changed my mind and realized I didn't want to use a feminine wash that smelled like "DEWDROPS." You see my problem, right? I literally stood in front of the shelf and almost burst out laughing because I thought it was perfect P moment.
What to do? Am I now obligated to purchase the three bottles because I removed the coupons? Do I carefully place the coupons next to the product, hoping the person who is actually buying the product to benefit from the coupon? Do I trash the coupons?
I'm a bad person, aren't I?
WWTRFPs do???
I opted for choice #2.

I don't know what feminine wash is, but I can guess. Does soap not work anymore? Why do we need a special product? Anyway, to answer your question, I would opt for your second suggestion too.

This RFP wouldn't have removed the coupons. But, since you did I would have taken the bottles and the coupons to the cashier or customer service counter and let them know what happened, give them the chance to tape them back to the bottles.
Not sure what's wrong with a dewdrop scent. But, I also wouldn't buy feminine wash.

I would have went for choice 2. I found out my fem wash has dyes in it even though its labeled sensitive. I use Amazon subscribe and save so it didn't seem worth it to return.

I probably would have done what you did - except 'feminine wash' is a waste of money in the first place. Not that you asked my opinion on that, sorry

Well, I wouldn't take the coupons with me if I wasn't buying the product anymore. So I suppose leaving them next to the feminine soap was the best thing to do at that point.
A lot of people use soap made especially for the vagina, as it supposedly has to do with the pH-balance. Normal soap is apparantly too strong.

I would have put the coupons back next to the items. I don't use a special wash but for those wondering, it's supposed to be more gentle and some women get irritated nether regions when they use regular body wash.

I thought modern thinking is that you aren't supposed to use any cleaning products down there. It's pretty much self cleaning unless you have a medical problem.

Yeah I don't wash my actual vagina...just the outer area. Ouch. Do people actually wash up inside?

To those confused about feminine wash...special cleansing soap especially for your lady bits...along the same lines of why you don't use shampoo on your skin or facial wash in your hair.

But there are people using feminine soap, and it is marketed as having the 'right' pH-balance for your vagina.

The vagina is self cleaning but the labia minora could use a little help. It's a crevice if you will. I clean any and all crevices with great care and concern. Of course it's a personal choice though.
Anyone ever use lemisol?

I've never heard of it? Is that the brand you use, Olan?
I'm kind of shocked some of you don't wash your exterior vaginal area at all, or so it seems from your posts. Shrug.

I don't think anyone is say that they don't wash the exterior--I think they are saying they don't use a special wash....

But I don't use "feminine wash", just soap. So take my non pH balanced opinion for what it's worth.

Different strokes eh. Lemisol is supposed to have a tingly refreshing feeling and has rave reviews on Amazon. I think I may try it when I am done with my last bottle.

I wouldn't let a name of a scent turn me off of buying something that is just going to sit in my shower. But if I changed my mind, I would just stick the coupons next to the bottles on the shelf.
And for the record I only use water down there. I was always told to not ever use soap and that "feminine wash" is just marketed as yet another thing women are supposed to use and it really isn't necessary.

I had to google when you mentioned lemisol b/c I thought you might be joking about the old timey lysol kind of douches. . . but anyway, I read a few reviews on Amazon, and I can't see anything on the ingredient list that would make it special or more ph balanced than normal soap or body wash. I did have a big moment when one reviewer mentioned menthol. The only time I wash the lady bits with something different is when I'm using my BBW mentha shower gel. I don't want the hoo-hah burning and stinging. Menthol just seems a bit strong for the lady bits.

RFP's I like that I like it too. Though it took me several minutes to figure it out. I was too busy trying to work out where the F would be in RCMP and not being successful at it.

'self cleaning' is making me think of my oven, and 'cleaning products' is making me think of 409 cleaner and Mr. Clean, lol!! For some reason using 'cleaning products' as a term for body wash, etc. is just striking me as funny.
and to the OP's question, I would have just set the coupons down next to the bottles on the shelf when I put them back.

I thought the name sounded odd and planned to check amazon when I got home and forgot until reading this thread. I love love love mentha and used the Bigelow shower gel too. I started using it before it had the "warning" about sensitive areas haha. Anyway the amazon reviews are all pretty positive so I may give it a try.

m~, why would you remove the coupons from the product. I always thought that this was left on the product for the cashier to remove at point of sale?
I would be if I saw a product where the coupon was visibly removed.
Shopping etiquette should include leaving the coupons on the product until the cashier has removed them at point of sale.

I always take the coupons off, but typically when I'm in line. But I have taken them off prior to that, if I've had an item in my cart. Sometimes the cashier doesn't see it.
I also wash my ladybits.
