So, I spent over an hour cleaning up/out the washer/dryer, and organizing the medicine drawer and laundry cabinets. YAY! As I was putting food away in plastic storage containers, I spilled jelly beans all over the floor. UGH Then, I decided to try to wash DH's ball caps in the washer...that I had just cleaned...opened the top, and discovered that somehow, some cardboard thingy ma jig had fallen into the washer and disintegrated all over the inside of the washer, and all over the ball caps, that did NOT come clean (sweat lines. I guess they soaked out the color instead of just leaving a line. Maybe I waited too long to wash them. I guess I should have done it right away, but I never thought to wash them. DUH) with soap, Oxy Clean and a 15 min. soak. Grrrrr So, I had to get out the vacuum cleaner and try to get the wand part to stretch enough to go down inside the washer tub. Luckily, it all came out. In the grand scheme of things, nothing that happened is a big deal and was all cleanable, but still quite irritating. I need a maid...and a bubble bath. No more cleaning for me today!

Enjoy the bubble bath! Some days you just need one.

The card board likely came from inside one of the caps. You're going to find one that seems softer now than it used to before you washed it because it used chipboard as a stiffener.

Ugh. I am sorry. I have to say I would probably cry over spilled jelly beans. 5 second rule. I ate them instead of throwing them away. So, a win there, at least. LOL

Well at least what happened to you was an accident. It never fails that the day of the week I decide to mop the kitchen floor will also be the day I plan something for dinner involving frying and there is grease spatter all over my beautifully cleaned floor. When will I learn? I'll think of you while I'm sipping my wine tonite!

Cleaning always creates more cleaning. I went through my closets. I have two. I tossed out a full closet that will go to Goodwill on Tuesday. Feeling accomplished, but then that sent me other places to clean things I hadn't planned on cleaning.

I love your new picture! So perfect for summer.
I have so many cleaning mishaps. Great intentions, and I end up shrinking the baseball cap or breaking something.

I have cleaning days like this, too. All too frequently. I feel your pain.
