anything by Linwood Barclay. I know other peas have mentioned him in book threads but I wanted to give him his own thread. Every one of his books that I have read have gripped me until the last page. Some of my favorites are:
Fear the Worst No Time for Good-bye Never Look Away Too Close to Home A Tap on the Window
I am currently reading Trust Your Eyes and am enjoying it as well.

I'll look him up. But for the sake of discussion, what kind of thriller? I like espionage.

I'll look him up. But for the sake of discussion, what kind of thriller? I like espionage. Not so much espionage. More everyday people thrown into something they had no control over.

Love him! I have read and enjoyed every book he has written. I thought we had too until I saw Trust Your Eyes at the library! DH and I have a habit of finding an author and reading through all their books before reading anything else. We did it with Harlan Coben and David Rosenfelt too.

Do you need to read them in published order? Or do they each stand on their own?

Awesome ~ thanks!! I am having a very blah, sad-ish evening. Maybe I'll take my sorry butt to bed and read a new book. I just checked and my e-library has all of the titles for download. Yay!

Thank you! I am in need of a good thriller author. So far all the books I've been recommended here I have loved. Jodi Picoults - Leaving time - possibly my favourite book of hers ever. Jo Jo Moyes and the Girl on the train book.
Now to put aside some time everyday to read a little. My problem is once I start I want to keep reading till I finish.

I started Never Look Away last night. Granted it was 1am when I started so I only made it through the prologue & chapter 1. (Funny side: The whole time I read the prologue, I kept thinking of the Refupeas and those who skip them. They would have missed the entire point of the book if so. )

I'll look him up. But for the sake of discussion, what kind of thriller? I like espionage. Have you read Vince Flynn? His books are espionage thrillers. Sadly, he passed away last year. He was one of my top all time favorite authors.

Thanks for the recommendations I'll definitely look out for that author. If anyone is interested I've just finished reading "I am Pilgrim" by Terry Hayes and it was really good, I'd definitely recommend it if you like thrillers.

I was stunned to hear that some people don't read the prologue! To me, it sets up the premise of many books but always has essential information that you figure out down the road.
