Would it help the space requirements if photos that are a part of one's signature were not used? On a previous board that I belonged to, folks used the avatar to keep a long running photo out there for the online friends to enjoy...and the photo changed from time to time. We enjoyed photos of one's children/family or whatever but the board space was not used up by photos.
Just an idea.......

Looks like this idea is not going to do anything to help.
If I understood correctly in another thread, photos in signatures don't count towards our limit.

Thank you for the thinking of that, but no, the space limit doesn't apply to signature or avatar images, so you don't need to worry about those.
We aren't in danger of running out of space any time soon, and if that does look like happening I'll let you all know for sure. It might just mean pruning out some older images when we get to that point.
