I'm sure I spelled that wrong!
Anyway, I got the really great deal on the Spellbinders dies at Michaels. Some dies like the doilies don't cut out the small pieces. It ends up looking like a scalloped circle. I use the thickest platform and then a clear plate on top. I ran it back and forth about 6 times, but it still doesn't work. I've used the Project Life dies with no problems, but they aren't intricate.
Is there a way to get these to work? I've been thinking about getting a Big Shot machine if that will work better. I know they don't make the ZipeMate anymore.

I do!
And I also got the Spellbinders dies at M's.
I haven't tried my new dies, but I've used intricate dies in the past in my ZEM, and sometimes I have to shim the die.
Try putting 2 pieces of paper (patterned paper thickness) under the die to make the sandwich thicker.
Then try rolling it all through.
Keep adding shims (the sheets of paper, one at a time) until your sandwich feels tight enough and it cuts cleanly when you roll it through.

It will cut 8 1/2 x 11 paper That way you don't have to worry about the size of your dies, they will all fit.

I bought the grand nestabilites dies and didn't realize most won't fit. I was thinking I'd just sell them.

It all depends on what it is you want to do.

I heard about the great clearance sale on the spellbinders but stopped short when I realized they won't fit through my Vagabond. I don't want the smaller dies. I will mostly use the large ones.

I have a pink Zip'eMate, a purple Zip'eMate and a teal Big Shot. I actually keep a Zip'eMate ready to run the Spellbinders or QuicKutz dies back through with the embossing mat & rubber rather than having to change everything and run back through the Big Shot. Of course, that doesn't work on the bigger dies.
Even on the Big Shot, some intricate dies have to be run through it several times. I do NOT just go back and forth, I change the angle slightly each time I run it back through and that usually solves the problem. Also, shim with cardstock under or over it each time. Sometimes, you have to do more. Just don't use so much that you have so much pressure that it will break your Zip'eMate.
Also, if you need more mats, I'm assuming that you do know that Big Shot clear mats work on Zip'eMate and Zip'eMate mats work on Big Shot just fine. You do have to trim the Big Shot mats to fit on the Zip'eMate since they are wider. If not, the AccuCut 5x6 mats work just fine.
If I were you, I wouldn't sell the bigger dies. Keep them because at some point, you'll find a great deal on a Big Shot/Big Kick or Cuttlebug and then kick yourself for not keeping them! Or you'll find a good deal on an AccuCut GrandeMark or Bigz Pro or you'll meet someone with the machine and can cut a bunch.
I have the AccuCut Baby GrandeMark and some day, I'm going to buy the wafer die adapter for it. As it is, I cut my Bigz XL dies and Bigz Pro dies on my Baby GrandeMark with my "homemade" Sizzix Original adapter. All it is, is 5 white cutting mats from the ORIGNAL Big Red Sizzix machine! I've done it LONG before there was an adapter, in fact, 11-1/2 years! I was told I'd ruin the dies but they still cut just fine and that includes mat board from a framing shop.
