It was pretty scary to watch how he fell, and how long he was face down on the floor. Later, after he played part of the rest of the game, he said that he was following the doctors and trainers there with him, and not moving. We thought he was out and would not be ok. He's strong, and such a wonderful guy. His parents and wife were at the game in Houston, and it showed his mom praying while he was down. His dad went to the locker room to be with him. Whew. I hope they check him out thoroughly before the next game Wednesday night in Oakland.MRI's and everything should be done. he's my favorite basketball player!

I am a big fan of his too! I love Davidson University (near my parents NC house) and so proud that a Davidson alumni is the mvp! I didn't see the game, but his parents must have been so worried! I'm glad his dad could be with him!

Oh my goodness - I came in just as the replays were going on.
Holy smokes that was a bad fall!
We are in the process of getting DS a baseline concussion test this summer. He plays basketball, and the further his head gets from the court floor (he's already 6ft at 14 years old) the more worried I get. He's never had a concussion, so we want to have the baseline done so we know what we're dealing with if he ever gets his coconut rattled.
SO scary!!

I wasn't home for most of the game, but DH was watching it and showed me the fall. When he threw that really bad air ball later on, did anyone else think that maybe he shouldn't be back in the game yet?

Are you from the Charlotte area? My mom's family is from Cornelius. I love that area.

That was the worst fall I have ever seen in the NBA. We had season tickets to the Timberwolves for many years. I'm glad he seems to be OK. I was shocked when he came back.

Yes, it made me gasp. That could have been very, very bad in any number of ways. He was so lucky.

Not a Golden State fan at all and this terrified me. You never ever want to see a fall like this on the court. I sure hope he's okay today. Guy's a competitor for sure! I always respect great talent.

yes, I too hope he is ok in the long run. He's incredibly agile, and couldn't break his fall. He's also a very humble guy with a strong set of family values. I really really like him.

That fall was frightening. Couldn't believe they put him back in. There is no way they can tell the repercussions of the fall that quickly. But I guess it is the playoffs. Hoping the Cavs can wrap up their series tonight over the Hawks...then bring on the best in the west.

I was also surprised to see him back last night. That fall was horrifying especially in slow motion. Just the way he landed in his arm, I can't believe that didn't result in a shoulder injury at the very least. I would imagine he's feeling pretty beat up today.

Every HS student here in NYS takes an impact test. Best idea ever.

My son, as well as every athlete in grades 7 and up who participate in school-sanctioned sports, take an impact test every season. Great idea. Hope he's OK.
