I was going to grill hotdogs and make my special chili. Well, it's raining, hard! And I don't like hotdogs any other way. So, No. Clue. Guess I will get DH to pick up salads from a local place called Zaxby's.

It was hot and humid again here today so I did what I did yesterday and made all the dinner components at 10am. I made a new recipe I found on pinterest for chicken sausage, pasta, pesto & brussel sprouts. The recipe called for oven roasting the brussel sprouts but I was NOT turning on the oven so I grilled them. I also grilled the chicken sausages. And made the pasta. Then tonight all I had to do was throw it all in pan to heat it up and add some pesto. The recipe had potential but no matter how many times I make them, I just don't love brussel sprouts, which I think is odd because I LOVE cabbage. And I'd used a different type of chicken sausage we haven't had before and it wasn't my favorite. So next time, I'm going to use broccoli & carrots and the chicken sausage we've all had before.

I made Pioneer Woman's Peach-Whiskey Barbeque Chicken, although I don't know why she called it barbeque, because first the chicken is fried to brown it, and then put into the oven with the sauce to bake. Maybe because you put barbeque sauce into the sauce [along with the whiskey and peach jam, etc.] I'm not a tea-totaller by any means, but I have to be honest. I tasted the sauce before I put the chicken back in, and I think I could do without the whiskey. Hopefully it will all cook down and just taste yummy when it's done. It will be in the oven for about another hour, so we will see!

My in-laws took my daughters to a local mexican restaurant. It didn't sound appealing to me, so I stayed home and made my version of tuna noodle casserole.
gluten free noodles tuna peas broccoli mushrooms parmesan cheese sour cream milk

Quick dinner for us. Pan fried pork chops in a creamy mustard mushroom sauce Broccoli Rice Followed by ice cream and fruit.

Minus the being glued to my skin... Great!! Had a well baby visit today and he is up to 7.4lbs from 5.9 in just a week and a half!!

Pioneer Woman's Peach Whiskey Barbeque chicken was actually really good! The sauce was yummy and you couldn't taste the whiskey at all. We had it over rice, as opposed to mashed potatoes, as she recommends. Very tasty!

All my meals are eaten with one hand, usually over the sink while bouncing the baby with the other arm and all under three minutes. It's just silly!
