that has no innies! Confused yet? I'd like something where the a, b, d, e, g, o, p, and q are open. Does this make sense? I want to make a stencil without having to weed out all the innies. For example, I want the "o" to look like an "o" not a circle. I've looked at so many fonts my eyes are going silly.
Thanks, Karen

To clarify, you want the letters with circles in them (like a, b, d, e, o, etc) to be filled in completely? So the O is really solid, not a ring?

I'm unfamiliar with the term "innies." Although you described wanting letters that are "open," I think you are seeking a font with solid letters & no punched out pieces. If so, hope you can use one of the fonts suggested. mela280 - Thanks for the links. I downloaded the free Blackout font.

I knew I was going to run into trouble with my description, it took me a while to find an example. The sizzix sizzlits boxed brush is the kind of font I want. I'd like the letters to be one piece, so that with the negative I don't have to replace all the centers. Clear as mud? boxed brushKaren

So, something more like a stencil font so the inside pieces are connected, correct?

I Googled Free Stencil Font and looked at the images. There are quite a few, ranging from a typical/traditional block stencil to grungy to script!

I'm not really looking for a stencil font because all the ones I have seen divide the letter into at least two pieces. I want the individual letters to be one piece.

After looking at the example you posted above, maybe try a script or a cursive font. You want a line that doesn't connect, so there's a gap at the top of the o or a.

Thank You alittleintrepid! Brittany works perfect! I didn't even think about looking in the curly section. I will be using my cameo, but I don't want to have to always edit certain letters. Eventually one day I would love to learn how to make my own font.
