OK, so kitten heels could be optional. So ransorish. LOL! This one was before my time, so I googled "ransorish". A number of Pea threads were at the top of the search. Thanks to the oldtimers for passing the Pea lore down through the ages. Our new community will have to include a library and a historian.

I. AM. SO. IN.
Daycare for those of you who need it, chefs, housekeeping, stuff to keep the husbands out of our hair happy, 24 hr. scrapping shows . . . I can't even remember all the great ideas you guys had! I love them all and can't believe we haven't thought of this Nirvana sooner!
I must say, the 'go directly to jail' for asking "How do you have time for that?" (can you hear the tone in my voice?) law is my favorite.
Now I just have to think of which street I want to live on . . .

I would suggest moving to my area but no real LSS but we do have Hobby Lobby,Michael's and a nice Joann's. I love the idea of a cleaning service and daycare for those that need it. We have lots of golf courses, wineries, breweries, lots of good food, lakes for fishing to help keep the hubbies happy. Bass Pro shops is only an hour away. The weather is mild although it does get hot in September and October but AC does wonders for this. In the winter skiing is close.
I think the thing I like best would be the garage sales I love finding new to me treasures and I would love to purge some of my older stuff that I just am not going to use and have someone find it and actually like it.

What about our dh's? What about them? LOL It's all about Us in this fantasy, thank you! I want my house to look like the "Up" house in this fantasy neighborhood. With the balloons. That never deflate or pop.

I would totally want to live there. Since we're dreaming, let's do it up right! It would have a HUGE centrally located community crop room that had die cut machines, paper cutters, computers, photo printer, etc. on site and it would have to have great lighting since it would be open 24 hours a day (you would need to use your key or a code to get in though to keep the riffraff out). It could have one of those grocery store conveyor belt things that some stores have so you could unload your car under a canopy onto the conveyor and it would roll all your stuff inside where you load it into a cart and wheel it to your (reserved?) table. It would have a full commercial kitchen that could be used for the crops but also could be used by the community for Christmas cookie exchanges, ice cream socials, birthday parties or other events. Every table (5-6' each) would have a nice rolling desk chair and one of those drink holder things to go with it and a big wastebasket. And free built in WiFi for all of our digi scrapping sisters. In addition to the scrapbook/stamp/paper craft store, there would also be a quilt shop and maybe a bead shop and yarn shop in the community too since many of us are bi-craftual. I want a house there, too! And since we're creating our Scrapbook Utopia City: It also needs to have an attached massage room where we can get a massage to help relax our muscles after cropping all day. And then we need a swimming pool and a hot tub. This community sounds wonderful. Where should we put it (what state)?

Would it have to be gated if it was on an island? I was thinking somewhere here on the mainland would be cheaper for UPS and FedEx shipping on all the scrapping stuff we'll be ordering. Even though we'll have a LSS, they can't carry EVERYTHING... Or can they? Well not SU! Or CTMH. And I like some of that stuff too!

Maybe the SU and CTMH gals could have a little shop/crop room attached to their homes, where you could come and buy anything you wanted. It would always be fully stocked and they'd have us over for parties and demos often. I'd love to teach my monthly card class again like I did before LSS closed. Do you think our scrappy utopia LSS is hiring yet?!

I have several hundred punches. They are awesome. Most are MS and EK Success. Wouldn't it be great to have a common building where everything could be shared? I know my friends love scrapping at my house. Can you imagine everyone's Cricut cartridges and Silhouette images? Oh, yeah, I just bought the Fuse today, so everyone could try that. ^^^ 950nancy, I haven't seen if you posted a different thread about this-- how do you like the Fuse?? does it work like they say, and have you used it to make custom-sized pockets and page protectors??

I think I'd want to live on the corner of Bazzill Blvd and October Afternoon Drive. My house would be a large two-story 'Farmhouse' with a huge front porch and be set on a huge pie-shaped corner lot so I could have an old-fashioned "Farm Girl" flower bed, small orchard with fruit trees out back, and be on the edge of the subdivision so I could be next to the 'Woodland Park' area.

We have to have a golf course to keep our husbands occupied and off our backs. Oh can we give the kids their own tool closet so we can keep the good stuff to ourselves? Would it be wrong to have the kids be raised by nannies that we could summon when we needed their picture taken? I'm just saying that many of the royals seem to have great pictures of their babies. Not saying we have to do this. I am just imaging snapping my fingers and asking to see the child on occasion.

I hope you do well, and I have to say, I cannot imagine sorting and putting that many books out for a sale! And of course, take some photos, so you can scrap the experience- lol! I'm bringing my dogs with me. There better be a dog park! A water dog park. They may want to cool off at times, and they'll want their picture taken with the other fur kids for the summer paper lines.
