We had one around our pool. Along with a vinyl deck. Very easy to keep clean (pressure wash) and it doesn't get hot like a wood deck or concrete.

I covet the white rail fences I see around pastures in our area. They look so sharp!

We have one and I would never have a wood one again (had wood at my previous house). They're very easy to maintain and last forever unlike wooden ones.

if the vinyl is anything like white vinyl patio chairs, then i would be hesitant to get it. some of my neighbors have vinyl fences and they looked great...in the beginning. when they got dirty or faded, they didn't look as good. as much as i hate the upkeep of a wood fence, they are just more natural to me.

We have a vinyl fence, I think the color was called Cypress, installed 4 years ago. We have gotten lots of unsolicited compliments from people we don't even know who are walking in the neighborhood.

My neighbors have a white one - it always looks dirty/mildewy. (They never wash it and it is under several trees)

I have one around my backyard and really like how it looks. If you decide to get one make sure it has wooden 4x4 posts cemented into the ground before they put the vinyl one over the top of it. That way the screws holding the panels will be screwed into wood and the wind will not be able to pull the panel away from the post. Simply attaching panels to a vinyl post only will not hold. (I hope that makes sense and please don't ask me how I know this!) Ugh! Thankfully my brother fixed it when he lived here. But I love my fence. Just hose it off a couple times a year to keep it looking good. A friend of mine power washed mine last weekend
