that I saw on a TV cooking show. They used several 1/2 artichokes, flat side down in skillet. Poured in canned tomatoes, used olives (I can't remember if black or green), and capers.
Then after artichokes were tender, they put Parmesan? cheese on top and baked it a while.
Sounds like I know the whole thing, huh? I'd really like to look at the recipe, though. I thought the show was THE CHEW or THE KITCHEN, but couldn't find the recipe on those sites.
Any suggestions? Also, can you really remove the choke by just scooping it out with a spoon? After halving it, while it's still raw?

They put Parmesan on top of the artichoke halves? The part you can't eat? There are lots of similar recipes using artichoke hearts.

THanks, twinzmommy ! THat's close enough. They didn't use ricotta that I recall, but other than that, it's what I saw.

The reviews are not good at all. It does look delicious.
I might steam the artichokes first, remove the choke, and then make the dish.

I make a dish with these ingredients and a few more. It's a one pot dish with pasta. Mine is good.
