Has anyone had luck with this? I bought the Silhouette brand pen holder and have been successful once several months ago. But, now no matter what font I try I have an open area in the middle, hopefully that makes sense? It's not a single line, it's a font where you could use the paint bucket tool to fill in the letter. I want just a single line as I'm wanting to write inside cards. I have one font where it worked perfectly with no finagling, and now that I'm trying it months later it needs filled in.
I've Googled and YouTubed. What I keep seeing is to use internal offset, but every time I try absolutely nothing happens. I'm obviously doing it wrong, but I'm reading the blogs with step by step pictures and trying it at the same time. Theirs fill in, mine do nothing.
Any tried and true fonts or walk through you can suggest?
Thanks!

I have absolutely no idea about how to fix your pen problem, but I wanted to say that I love your avatar.

I asked on Facebook and was able to find a couple of different fonts that actually work.
Now, I have other problems!

I don't think that all fonts will work with the pen. Smaller ones that don't cut well are probably the best. I bought mine from Amy Chomas before Silhouette offered one. Check out her blog for tips. You may find the answer. amychomas.blogspot.ca

You need to use a sketch font. There are quite a few in the silhouette store. The other fonts are going to write where ever there is a cut line, so it leaves the center open.

I have used the pens with my Silhouette without any problems- I have the original pen holder and have used it also. I have even journaled on my page with the pens. You can email or call customer service and they may be able to help you. They are very helpful.

Ditto the "sketch font" comment... the are the ones that come out as a single line!!! I think TT fonts (true type) also will work, but I'm not positive. Definitely recommend buying a sketch font tho, you'll get rid of your problem for sure.

Are there any sketch fonts you can't download for free? I know I can get them through the Silhouette store, but any tried and true you've used from DaFont or a place like that?
I did end up finding a couple, but I can't recall the names off the top of my head.
