I have a cake that I want to make and a chocolate ganache glaze would be nice.
What I do not want to do, however, is go to the grocery store to buy heavy cream. I have half and half and am curious if anyone has ever made a ganache with half and half?

You probably could, the result would not be as rich as cream tho.

I just wasn't sure. With heavy cream you can whip it into a thick consistency and I didn't know if half and half would end up as a puddle of essentially amounts to a chocolate sauce.

Just don't use as much liquid as you normally would and it should be fine.
