Wowzers. Yep, she took him home- she had to. Reminds me of Hatchi the movie which was based on true story. He waited forever for his person to come home.

Oh good lord... that was brutal. The music was similar to, if not the actual music, from Up... when Ellie passes away.
The dog went home with the recipient. Yep, right home and blended with her family almost immediately.
