DH owns his own transportation business. I guess I am his secretary as well, and I do all the records and paperwork.

I am a SAHM but worked part time from home doing marketing work for HoneyBaked Ham (worked for them before kids). They just moved their offices to Atlanta so I lost that job (I am in MI).
DH is an engineer and manager for an automotive supplier that provides all sorts of electronic modules to the Big 3. I know what he does but have no idea how he does the job.

I am a consultant for Pure Romance- I do fun in home parties teaching women about their sexual health and well being while using a line of products and i'm fortunate to have an amazing team of women that I mentor and help do the same thing.
My husband has always worked in the auto industry but retired a year ago and is now my office assistant. We are blessed to be able to work together everyday!

DH has been a commercial pilot for 18 years now. He loves what he does. Always has.
I've been with the same law firm for almost 19 years. I started as a legal assistant but as I started having kids and wanting to spend more time with them, I moved to the word processing department. I do very similar things to the secretaries and legal assistants, but I have a definite start and quitting time. If I'm not finished with a project, I put it back in the box and someone else finishes it and the same for them. If they're not done at the end of the day, I pick it up the next morning. It's a pretty sweet gig!

So many interesting jobs.
I was a SAHM for 3 years until we went into business for ourselves. I do all the bookwork for our company out of our home and it only takes me 12-20 hours a week. We have 4 trucks that do oilfield work. My husband did this for 10 years before we formed our own company, 9 years ago. I was raised on a farm. Here you either work in the oilfield or farm (grain and/or cattle).

I'm currently a SAHM with a small crafting business. It's not really much of a business but I do about 6 craft shows a year and take orders. DH is a structural engineer for a company that designs and builds ropes courses and zip lines. Right now, he's the head engineer and oversees two other engineers and a drafter. The stuff his company builds is awesome. This is just one of the courses they build.

I have a law degree but worked in Human Resources at corporate headquarters of a large bank in Michigan. Then we had our first child, and moved to PA a few months later and I have been a SAHM since. I consider myself more a live in housekeeper since that is all I do all day, then a chauffer every night riding my 3 kids all over the place!

I am in data entry and auditing for an online store, lucky enough to work from home and have flexible hours so I also babysit for friends, family and friends-of-friends for extra cash. I love the kids, too, so it is a chance to spend time with them. My husband is a data analyst for an online auto parts accessory store. It is his job to verify every single item listed on the website fits/belongs with the manufacturer, model, and year listed. We both say Excel is our second spouse .

I teach STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) workshops to elementary students. I visit a lot of schools. My areas are mostly environmental (insects and plants) but I do teach a workshop on Newton's law. It's a part time job but I've been much busier than usual this spring, full time for a few weeks. It's a super flexible job, I book my workshops with the teachers when I'm available. I'm off for the summer, Christmas Holiday and March Break I have a second part time job that I do from home. I manage an online database for a large Canadian website. The fun part of this job is that I can do it from home in my pjs. I do have a deadline but there is no set schedule. My dh is a Fire Inspectaor at an auto manufacturer. My dd is a university student so she has 2 summer jobs. In the morning she works for a Pediatric Psychiatrist and during the evening, she is a barista at a cool coffee shop in town. My youngest is 15, he was working as an assistant karate instructor but he switched to another martial art and had to quit. Next year, he will take the life guard program.

I'm currently a journeyman Tinsmith, aka sheetmetal work. I am being retrained to get my journeyman's card as a Millwright. I think I may retire when that happens though, the work is much heavier and harder than I want to do. Currently I make duct work, tool boxes, guarding, smoke stacks, etc. Anything that involves sheet metal about 3/16" thick or thinner. Millwrights put up building steel, move presses, repair presses, and do metal work 1/4" and heavier. Since I messed up my back about 10 years ago heavy lifting is not something I want to do. Although the equipment does a lot of the work, there is still a lot of bull work that has to be done. So retirement is in the plans. ETA, some really interesting jobs on here. This is what my ds does

DH and I own a small sign company. We have both been in this type of business pretty much always - signs, screen printing, digital printing, graphic design, etc. We met while working for competitors . Our business is 15 years old this year. We make all types of signs except electrical or lighted signs and billboards. I came to work with him full time about 5 years ago, but have always been involved with the business even when working the full time job(s) I had before.

-- I work in the Quality area at a Nutritional Supplement company, investigating customer complaints and managing internal product investigations. I've worked in the pharmaceutical / medical device field for 20+ years, now, and at this company for 1.5 years.
-- My BF is VP of Operations for a company that installs personal safety systems in senior care communities. He's worked at that company for 9.5 years. (When someone has 'fallen and they can't get up' they press a pendant and it alerts the care staff-- his company installs those systems.)
We both sort of 'started over' to some extent with our careers because when we met we both lived in the Chicago area. A year after we got together, we moved from Illinois to Arizona (away from winter, lol) without having jobs lined up before moving. The job market in the Phoenix area is quite a bit different than it was in the Chicago area.

Our family farms and ranches. Technically, I guess I would be a SAHM. I am the primary truck driver during harvest, which usually starts in late August and goes through November. I drive tandem axle and semi's. I also will hop in the tractor and work ground if there is a break in the grain harvest. In the spring I am responsible for the cow herd while DH plants the crops. I also work ground ahead of the planter. I do all the books. I do all the cooking and try to have meals ready to serve in the freezer for spring and fall seasons. Right now - life is pretty good. I go on parts runs a couple times a week and do a little cow work when needed. We will be vaccinating soon, but that generally is done in two days. We preg check cows and castrate bull calves later in the year - but the vets come out and do most of that work, I just do the records and some tagging. All I can say is WOW!! You are our own Pioneer Woman!! Love it!

My DH has worked his way up through a large company over the past 23 years and is now a senior manager. He is working his way up to director.
