I saved the link to her store, just to see what they came up with. There is no longer a link to the blog, and all of their products are listd at 60% off.
I'm guessing their stuff didn't sell well. Did anyone here ever buy anything from them?
Just curious.

is that their Etsy store?? I seem to recall they had some exclusive design wooden veneers, stuff like that?? (and, no, I never bought anything from them, otherwise I'd remember their stuff- lol!)
(is it wrong to not feel bad that it didn't go well for them?)

Never bought anything from them and didn't know that was their new name. For some reason I assumed that they were keeping the Twopeas label but that might have been problematic if a Twopeas had financial issues.
Could you share a link for the new store? I can't find it on Etsy.
ETA...disregard...I see that it's a different website and not Etsy.

I just checked out the shop for We blow kisses . The shirts actually look cute but none of the designs really speak to me. Does anyone know what happened to their Etsy store?

oh, so it was separate from their scrapbooking stuff... never heard of it! (maybe that's why they didn't do very good, if no one knew about it!) Now that I'm thinking about it, maybe they did keep the 2peas name on Etsy... off to look.
ETA: their Etsy store (which did sell flair and wood veneer, according to scrapbookupdate.com) is also closed-- the link from the Scrapbook Update story goes to Jeffrey White's profile, with no store or items for sale at all.

Interesting. I did like their wood veneers; just used some this week on a LO that I bought before the 2Peas store officially closed. Wish I could find something similar to them, so I could buy more.

I never bought anything. I like a few of the designs but TBH thought they were way overpriced. I'd assume they are winding it down with everything clearance priced, but it also looks like they didn't put much effort into the store with no new designs after the initial offerings.

I couldn't get past the idea that it was a mother/daughter store and they sold a t-shirt that says f$$k the noise. No matter how old my kid gets I wouldn't be happy if they wore a shirt with that word.

Me, either! I had never seen/heard that till I saw their shirts. NOT something I would wear, even if I said it.

I'm still pissed about the theft of my "lifetime access"...so no, I wouldn't support anything they did with a single penny.

@sdeven, it does suck. Have you tried contacting the GG's that had classes that you purchased? They got their rights to their classes, so you may still have access. I know that Shimelle is working on getting her classes back out to those who had purchased them. It's worth a try.

I mean, I say f*ck way too much, but I wouldn't buy a shirt that says it to wear in public (or at home for that matter) and I would damn sure not buy one for my daughter!

It doesn't come as a shock to me that it wasn't successful. Kristina, to me, isn't the greatest business woman. Yes, she had a popular website. She can spot a trend and market it. But her business sense otherwise sucked and she proved that time and time again. I think as scrapbookers we were a little lax in expecting these businesses to actually operate like other businesses "in the real world."

weblowkisses.com/products/i-love-you-etc-fitted-teeIs whimsical the right word for this? The silkscreening on this sucks and why on earth would anyone pay this much money for a cotton white t-shirt with this "expression of love". It looks like crap, but maybe I am being pissy. Not enough sleep, emergency home care from hospice last night, constant yelling and pain in my wrist that shouldn't hurt. Sorry for the pity party today just sucks

The target audience is the younger crowd. Probably my students' ages (jr high) and older. Personal opinion is that they could use some more oomph with the silk screening especially since shirts like the ones they are making can be found everywhere with varying quality, sayings, designs, in an over saturated market.

Agreed. For the quality, the prices are ridiculous, but I have seen a lot of shirts this style, so I guess they thought they would be popular.

But with Forever21, Target, Kohl's and a plethora of other stores selling them I am not surprised.

I tend to remember it was on Etsy for a short time before the site closed and then when this board started. If I remember. There was a thread about it. We all were not really suprised about it but were kinda thinking it was tacky - if that's the right word. As they were having lots of shipping issues and selling stuff at weird prices. Lots of weird stuff going on when it closed down.

I think it means "trying too hard"... It was one thing when scribbled in marker in 1977. Silk screened by a cutsie mother & daughter team 37 years later, and sold in their boutique? I'm not feelin it.

Well, they're definitely "trying too hard" to be cool and trendy. I'd understand a shirt that said, "Bring the noise". But a shirt with f#%k emblazoned across doesn't make a tiny, little urban teen girl hardcore or hip.

Probably not the seller's target audience

I say F**k this noise, meaning screw this, but I sure wouldn't want that on a t-shirt. It just seems so out of place with the other designs.
