... not pinned random stuff I find on the internet. I have pinned things I find on other people's PInterest boards. So now I've discovered a new website whose quotes I am loving. How do I pin the ones i want to keep? Thanks! (Blushing at my naivete!)

Hi there, from Pinterest 102! I have heard from the graduate students that there is a button you can get on your menu bar. But I don't know how to get it there. On the off chance that no learned pros pop in to school us, maybe a google search on that might lead to enlightenment?

I don't consider myself a Pinterest Pro, but this should help with getting the pin button added to your menu bar--> Hope this helps! It really is easy to add, and you'll love having the button to pin more easily.

In the pinterest search bar at top, search Pinterest button. One of the results will show you how to install that button.
ETA will you share the quote site with us? I love cute quotes!

If you don't want to install the button, you can click on the + button on the bottom right hand side of the pinterest window, one of the options is to pin from a website. Select that, paste the url from the page the picture you want to pin, select the pic, then assign it to a board.

Definitely install the browser tool bar Pin It button! It's super easy to install and makes Pinning from anywhere super easy. Just be sure you are Pinning from the permanent blog entry, not the blog homepage when you Pin. So, if you are at the blog (www.blog.com) and you see an blog entry with something Pinnable, open that blog *entry* by clicking on the title. Now the blog url should read as www.blog.com/specific-entry.

It's been a few minutes... I don't remember which term was used. WHere do you guys see the button? And how do you know if something is Pinable?

On the picture that you linked, you don't even need the Pinterest button. Just under the bottom of the picture, there is a line of "buttons" starting with subscribe. Keep going to the right until you find the Pinterest button "P" and click on it. You have to be signed into your Pinterest account and if you are, a page will pop up that you can pin.
You will still need the Pinterest button for some websites, but lots of them have either the Pinterest button or a Pin It button.
