My coffee pot broke after 3 years of good use. I use it daily most times 3 times a day. I am not a fan of the Keurig, we have one but I like my coffee from the pot better So tell me what do you love? What to stay away from? Thanks

I adore the 12 year old Braun that I have. It was one of the first ones that dripped into a carafe instead of a glass pot so it stays hot without the burn taste. And it stays hot for hours. I had a kuerig, but I drink so much coffee that it stopped making sense to make that many individual cups of coffee quickly. I guess it speaks to how well the thing is made-it has lasted a good long time. I remember it being around $100 back then, and I almost had a cow spending that much, but my mom also had one and I knew it was worth it-and if someone way smarter than me did the math, the cost per use by now is like-half pennies a day.

This. But mine is a Mr Coffee for something like 50-60 dollars. We are on our second one in 14 years, just replaced last year. But we use it for tea. Love it as we can preset the start time the night before and wake up to tea.

We like our Breville YouBrew. It stores and grinds the beans. It brews into a 12 cup thermal carafe that keeps the coffee hot or you can brew into a single cup and it makes consistently good coffee either way. It's easy to clean unlike the Cuisinart grind and brew that we had that allowed steam to get into the grinding mechanism leaving sticky grounds that were hard to get out. The only drawback is that it is very loud and on the expensive side. But in a year we've saved enough on K cups to pay for it.

I have a Cuisinart carafe coffee maker and I do not like it at all. It doesn't keep the coffee warm for a long period of time (maybe several hours at the most) and the inside of the carafe is impossible to clean…literally. And when you pour the coffee out it drips half of the time. I have had regular Cuisinart coffee makers in the past and have been happy with them.

We have a Cuisinart traditional coffee pot - no carafe, no grinder. It has worked very well for years. It's a 14-cup machine - rare to find one that large.
My in-laws have the same pot and had some kind of trouble, but the warranty covered it completely and Cuisinart had a very easy return/trade-in policy. They praised the customer service.
