Love them. I use polish 1-2 times a year because it does not hold up for me. I garden, paint, etc, and use my nails as tools. I have never had artificial nails.
Tried jamberry wraps two months ago and fell in love. A friend hosted an online party, I got my wraps and did my nails for a trip to Mexico. They held up so well. Then I held an online party, and ended up using some of my credit to by the consultant kit (at the hobbyist level).
I just painted the deck---the paint washed right off the wraps. I worked in all the gardens, wraps held up! Polish would have looked like crap right away.
Just signed up to get my style box delivered each month.
If you want any more info please feel free to pm me.

arielsmom - what do yo use on top of the jamberries? I normally don't do anything on my fingernails but we're going on vacation soon so I might.

I've been using them on my toes this summer and love them. They hold up very well for 3+ weeks. The only reason I am changing them is because I want a new color.
I have only been using solid colors and I get a lot of compliments. Everyone thinks it is polish. It took me a time or two to get the application process figured out, but I didn't go to a demonstration. I just ordered on-line and watched a few YouTube videos.
The wraps are $15, but I am able to get 4+ pedicures out of them. You will need to resize some of them with scissors after you use up the wraps that exactly fit your nails.
They sell a mini heaters (you have to warm the wraps before applying) and an accessory kit. I did not buy either. I heat the wraps with my blow dryer and had enough manicure supplies to cover what was in the kit. The one thing I did buy at CVS was a rubber cuticle pusher. That is a "must have" to press the wraps to your nail.
My only complaint is that their order processing is too slow. It takes 10+ days after order for me to get them in the mail.

I bought some and didn't like them at all. They kept peeling at the edges. I bought some Sally Hansen and they worked better.

There is a definite learning curve while you find out your best application recipe. Mine did not stick at all the first few times I did them. For that reason I suggest do an accent nail for the first few applications. Less waste that way.
Here is what I do now that works for me....
1. Use a cream cuticle remover to clean nails/ push back cuticles., 2. Wash nails with Liquid dish soap very well. 3. Clean each nail with acetone to "dry it out" 4. Gently buff 5. Repeat step 3 6. Spray lightly with hairspray 7. Heat wrap and apply 8. Allow to cool before filing (I do two nails ten go back to previous two) 9. Seal edges with straightening iron 10. Top coat with clear polish
There was another thread about this a few weeks ago. It was one I started if you are interested in Searching for it.

I am imagining burning the crap out of my fingertips. Lesa

I used the rice bag method for applying my Jamberry's and it worked very well for me. If they started lifting on the side before I was ready to change I just heated the rice bag again and pressed them down again. Seemed to work for me.
If you have one of those ceramic heaters you can use that to heat the wraps instead of buying their little heater. I used that the last time I applied the wraps and it worked the best of all the methods I tried. They really seeme to stick better.
Caution: Pay attention to the way they say to remove them safely. I just pulled them off and removed several layers of my natural nail. I think it's going to take them awhile to get back to normal. But it was my own faul, not the wraps.

Nor do I have to do anything special before the application. I do follow jamberry's directions and wipe with alcohol. I have the small heater. I do not have issues with edges or anything. I once had to redo one finger 4 times as I kept getting it on crooked, but that wrap held up as well as the rest.
