Doing pretty well. I am still in ICU but they are moving me today finally. I had some trouble keeping my blood pressure up yesterday. They said the tumor was pumping out so much hormone that the other adrenal gland got lazy. It took them a bit to figure out what and how much they needed to give me to compensate. They expect the right adrenal to wake up and take over but it will take some time. Otherwise I'm doing ok. Been up and walking and trying to be as active as they will let me. Thanks for asking after me.  |

It's comforting to us to see that you feel like posting. Keep getting better! ICU is super boring and I am not as out of it as a lot of other people. There is a lot of just laying around. I hate daytime tv and I sent my entourage to the hotel to get some real sleep last night. They will be up here shortly but right now it's just me and my phone. |

Hope you're back on your feet soon. Thanks for posting. And isn't it great that nowadays you can use your electronics in your room? I remember the old "turn your cell phone off" signs at hospitals.

I'm glad you are feeling up to posting. ICU is boring when you are feeling a little better. I spent 8 days in ICU a couple of years ago and after about three days I was climbing the walls.

Can you imagine the days without smart phones? I hope you are able to eat a bit and that the food isn't too bad. I can't imagine ICU being the epitome of action. At least in the ER you can "pretend" to not overhear what's wrong with your neighbour  but in ICU all you hear are beeps and vents breathing for people. I hope they move you soon and that you are feeling strong and are improving quickly.  |
