This morning, my record is 33%
I don't do well at swinging long sticks at things.

It's a while since I had any practise with my flyswatter but when I do use it, I'm more likely to hit a breakable or something than the fly!! I don't even attempt to substitute rolled up newspaper for a long handled swatter as so many do because I can cause more damage with that and have no resulting fly casualties!

Question is, after you swing and miss do you then give the fly-swatter stink eye as if it's the fault of the swatter and not your aim (or am I the only person who's done this?)

Is it wrong that I know a Sharla post just by the title alone?

Doncha have a bunch of slick spots around the house, @megmc ? . I do this in the kitchen. It wipes easily. Kind of scares that I use this stuff to cook with when it kills them so easy. The dog's vet is going to try it on her horses legs. It will be interesting to see if it keeps the flys off.

It's not you, it's the flies. Trust me.

I'm the weird one. I opened this thinking it was going to be about a time waster online game.
And was hoping it would be.

You should do some research on how a fly "takes off" from a stand still. Then you will know why you are missing and how to increase your kill rate (if I recall correctly they fly backwards for a little bit) If you are aiming in front of them you'll miss.

I have used the hose on the vacuum before but now we have an electric fly swatter. It makes a cool zapping noise when you kill something with it and no squashed flies to clean off the walls

I would think that the Pam probably suffocates them, rather than being poisonous to them. That's my guess anyway.

I never heard of spraying flies with Pam. I'll have to try that! My thing is trying to kill a mosquito by clapping my hands on it. I usually end up with sore hands from missing it four or five times in a row! And then the little bugger bites me anyway.
