If not, I have a created a video showing you the new stamps and products that debuted earlier this week. I'd love to hear what your favorite new stamps sets are or what you are most excited about. For me, I'm super excited about the new 100 lb. Whisper White card stock. Also, I absolutely love the new Project Tin Kit.

Yes I have one and was surprised at the size. Seems to get smaller every year. I thought prices were quite high and was extremely disappointed in reduction of hostess benefits. NOT a good business move IMO.

One reason the catalogue is smaller is because there are a lot less samples and ideas than in past years. Too many Project Life type products for me but several stamp sets I'm interested in buying. Just got the Ronald McDonald one-Sprinkles of Life- so versatile.

Is it true they got rid of their 12 by 12 papers? Do they still have the envelop paper - I am not sure what it is but my aunt said it is cool different prints on each side.

SU has kept the most popular selling solid colors in 12x12 which are Whisper White & Basic Black. The designer series paper comes in 12 x 12. Yes, the envelope paper is a new product and I really love it! So easy to create envelopes using it along with the envelope punch board.

So is the new catalog already out. I heard there were a lot of changes happening in Fall or August? Is this true or not?
I guess the better question would be is it on-line. I don't have a catalog so am just looking at what is on the SU! site - I don't see a pdf of the catalog. I have a feeling what I am seeing may be older and not the new stuff.

I just recently got some of the IN Colors. I wasn't convinced on the green color, so I skipped it. There are a couple of stamps sets I am wanting, but I am going to have to wait awhile to justify it. I just spent a nice chunk at a real life stamp store when I was out of town.

I will never get the new yellow. I have a phobia about mustard and I cannot see myself using anything named Dijon

I am predominantly a scrapbooker. I will occasionally make cards, but not nearly as many as I used to. With that in mind, I do not like this year's SU offerings at all. I am, in fact, majorly disappointed in the new catalog.
I am holding out hope that the occasions catalogs throughout the year will offer stamps more suited to scrapbooking. If not, this may be my last year of belonging to a stamp club and placing regular orders.
Oh yeah, I'm also underwhelmed with the new In Colors. What does SU have against blue, anyway?

Have you seen the Project Life by Stampin' Up! products offered? I really like the stamps they came out with and are perfect for scrapbooking if you like to do pocket style scrapbooking. In regards to the new In Colors, I was a little underwhelmed when I first saw them. Then I saw samples with the new colors mixed with others from our color collections and fell in love with them. Last year's In Colors feature a blue color...Lost Lagoon. The In Colors that just retired featured a blue color too...Coastal Cabana. Was so sad to see that color retire. So this is the first year in two previous years there wasn't a blue in the collection.

I just spent a nice chunk at a real life stamp store when I was out of town. It's a perfect summer green or what I like to refer to as "Kelly" green. If this isn't a shade of green you like then you made the right decision to pass on it until you see it in person. If this is a shade of green you like, you'll really like the ink color. I've had a lot of fun using it.

I'm not overly fond of the photopolymer stamps either. I prefer rubber. And I'm sorry, but neither Lost Lagoon nor Coastal Cabana are true blues. Aside from the In Colors, there aren't any real blue colors in their inks.

I have to be honest I don't care for most of the new catalog. I'm not sure why...almost everything just isn't my taste and there are so many stamps / punches that seem very specifc and not versatile enough for me. I loved last years and wish I had gotten more from that catalog because I loved so many items, but that darn budget lol. And usually there is always some great new stuff in each catalog...but sadly, not this time for me. But hey, great for my participation in the frozen challenge. I hope you ladies find stuff you like.

I hate that the in colors are getting so much play as a group. They are not ment to be a group and they do not work together as a group. And I hate lace. Everyone is raving about the fabulous lace. Crap no. I hate lace.
I appreciate that Stampin Up has finally (after a bazillion years) acknowledged scrapbookers in a legitimate way.

I am also allergic to some mustards (must be the way they are prepared...) so I never eat the stuff. I doubt I would buy a yellow stamp pad either.

Yes, the catalog is online. I do consider a 40% reduction in hostess a significant impact on customers - very significant as a matter of fact. When you add the reduction in hostess benefits to the minor price increases and consider that shipping and taxes add approximately 30% to the cost of my order, I think I have been priced out of the market, I am glad there wasn't much I liked in the new catalog. Most of those I would like to have were carryovers from the prior catalog. The only new one that caught my eye was the floral wreath that went with the die to the polymer Christmas wreath from the Holiday catty. I won't be buying it though. There are many other companies who have great stamps at lower prices and offer incentives such as free merchandise or free shipping at a much lower purchase point than Stampin Up has with these changes. I know demos are very good SU customers and will continue buying, but I wonder if there will be any impact in the buying habits of general run of the mill customers.

These changes do only affect the demos, not the customers. The change in hostess benefits went in to affect once the new catalog debuted.

Y'all are too funny! I like it...I wasn't crazy about Summer Starfruit a couple of years ago. That reminded me of baby poop. Haha!!

I know I will be spending a lot less on SU products this catalog year. There are only 3-4 stamp sets I really want and I mostly buy their stamps.

I think when customers get significantly fewer hostess dollars and free items their shopping habits will change. I know mine have.
