Anyone going to this next week? If you've been before, how well attended is it? Is it necessary to reserve a table for the crops? Thanks!

Wish I could say I was...my BFF had to cancel on me, so I'm without my scrapping buddy, plus a place to stay. It's just too long of a drive to head back home for the night and then return the next day. I'm also curious as to the attendance, as well as how the activities are run. It looks like fun, we'll just give it a try next time around.

Can't go this year - my travel buddy has a graduation so we're doing CKC Lancaster instead. The crop won't be crowded. Don't pay extra for a table.

I will likely stop by to shop but will not attend the crop. I attended once about 9 years ago (?) and took classes with Ali Edwards, Donna Downey and an up-and-comer named Shimelle Laine. The crop was packed. I had a spot but was so exhausted from my classes and had a baby to get back to that I bailed. This was more in the hayday of scrapping, though, not sure what it would be like now.

Thanks for the feedback. I have been debating reserving a table, glad to hear we shouldn't need to do so. I haven't been to one of these. We usually go to the CKC, but it wasn't in Charlotte this year. We're just glad to get to something. Nothing going on in our town anymore

I went last year, but only for the shopping. I am going this year on Friday, for shopping and a class.
The attendance wasn't small last year, but not super crowded, either, in my opinion.

I'm glad to hear it's not super crowded. There are four of us going. I haven't been to anything for a while, so I'm excited to go! I thought only one of my daughters would be going-- the only room I could get at IHG close to the Expo was a king. Then my other daughter decided to go (she lives in Rockville). She said she'd drive back home. Then I talked my BFF into coming with us (Who couldn't go at first because her husband was ill, but has since passed away). I hope we can get a cot or this may be a long three nights!

Well, I had fun! There were fewer vendors, but my favorites were there, and I got pretty tired from walking around. One make and take had a lengthy wait. It seemed fairly well attended.
I hope that anyone else who went or will be going tomorrow enjoys it as much as I did.

My two daughters, best friend and I went for the first time. We loved it. We stayed for all three crops and took 4-6 classes each. There were some differences from CKC but we had a wonderful time. My only complaint was the noise level especially trying to hear during the classes. Do you know what the new construction is going to be? Classrooms with better acoustics, I hope. We all thought the hosts were great. A wonderful time -- hope to go again next year.
