Does anyone know a good Silhouette cut that looks like this My favorite Things Scribbles Die?
I think they would make lovely flowers. I do not have a manual die cutter (I thought having a Silhouette Cameo would cure me of that desire...sadly not. So anyone have a good link to a cut like these?

Manual die cutters are so much faster and more convenient than the electronic ones...especially ones like the cameo and the explore where you are forced to use the computer with it. My manual die collection has grown probably tenfold in the past couple of years. I have to remind myself that I own (multiple) electric cutters. And you totally enabled me impearia on the MFT die...I don't know how I missed that one. It's so cute.

I have a Big Shot, but I find myself using my Cameo more. I just love that I can change the sizing of the image, even if that's all I do before I cut! I also have my laptop out on my scrappy desk at all times when I'm working and leave my Cameo out as well. So it's easier to use that way. I rarely touch my metal dies. But I know there are people who are bananas for them!

Slight hijack, I have both and I use both. I agree that having the computer out and the cutter set up all the time makes it easier to use, but for times when I need to do a really quick card or last minute thing (which is a lot of my life, LOL) the Big Shot is much faster for something simple that I only need one or two of. Almost all of my cards are made practically as I'm throwing on my jacket and running out the door, so quick is the key.
So if I see a die for my Big Shot that I like and *could* cut with my cutter but probably wouldn't bother firing up the cutter for to make one card on the fly, I'll buy it just for that purpose.

I have both and I use both too like crazy4scraps. It just depends on what I'm in the mood for on a particular page.

I use my scan n cut a lot but that is because it doesn't invlove a computer...I just literally scan and cut...so it is the equivalent of a manual die cutter. But my cameo...I haven't turned on that expensive paperweight in a year. I used my Explore maybe last month and I literally FORCED myself to do so because I had only used it once since I bought it...the guilt was huge. I think the e-cutters are great for mass producing or making signage...and I use mine for that. But my daily crafting it is so much easier to just crank a die through my cuttlebug/bigshot or fuse and keep on crafting. The flow is so much better when I don't have to stop open up a program, search for a cutfile or image just to make a layout. I do keep my computer out in my craft area...but I'm using it to watch netflix.

I just realized something. I think I use my punches like a lot of you use your dies. If I want something super fast, I punch! I use a lot of the same shapes on cards and things - like nested circles, scallops, hearts, stars, tags, tabs, labels...
And then when I want something different i use my Cameo.

Thank goodness for options! I have punches, electronic cutter, and a couple of manual cutters. I love all of them for different reasons. God bless America......and the internet!!

If you search "rose" in the silhouette store, there are a lot of similar ones. I keep my electronic die cutter out all the time and use it constantly. If I had to pull it out each time, it wouldn't be as useful.

Like so many people, I have both electronic and manual die cutters and I love - and use - them all. I thought that getting my Cameo would eliminate the need for my manual die cutters, but to tell you the truth, I might use them slightly more. Sometimes it's just easier, and sometimes those cute dies can't be replicated.

Thank you so much alissa103 ... Somehow I forgot to answer my own thread... You will not believe it. i actually HAVE that same scribble already purchased and I forgot about it... I wish I had the space to keep my Cameo out all the time, but I don't. Maybe I will try to get a Big Shot for my birthday lol.
