What do you use for AV, riversong1963 ? Some AV programs are huge resource hogs and if your laptop is a bit underpowered to start with - having a bloated AV will really bring the Studio program to a crawl. Norton and McAfee are the worst, IMO. I use AVG. Do you think that could be the culprit? Thanks for the help. |

I use Microsoft Security Essentials right now, but I did use AVG Free for years. AVAST is also great.
I had a major brain fart when I registered. I thought I was "IOWAgirl too! LOL ... I forgot the A and just never changed it. LOL

I just updated mine.  I got some bad new recently & I haven't scrapped at all. I do LOVE the new bigger window on the update. for the store too so much easier to see. It updated fine but I haven't cut anything yet. |

I can't upgrade mine at all. It tells me it is a corrupt file. I use the free AVG antivirus. Any suggestions?

I kept reading it wrong when I did mine.. so I did it 2 places..one time it said corrupt file so I canceled & redid it a couple times.. I read here that some were getting the corrupt file but that is not really a corrupt file. I have avg too.. Keep trying.

I did it 2 different places.....the first was trying to buy something at the store... I think that is where it kept saying corrupt file...I couldn't get it to upload for some reason. I also tried through the link on my machine. It wouldn't upload either I tried that a few times. Then I tried it from their website & it worked perfectly. Go to the website & try it |
