JULY 31, 2014 UPDATE: Alrighty everyPea, today is the end of the month! (Where did it go??) I'm so excited to see what everyone's created... This is our first challenge since 2Ps closed, and I think it's so amazing how we've 'kept calm and scrapbooked on' The Mood Board Challenges will normally start on the first and end on the last day of the month, but since this is the first month and it may be the first time some Refupeas have tried uploading pictures I want to make sure everyone has a bit extra time to get their projects uploaded... Upload your projects by midnight EST (that's midnight in Toronto, NYC if that makes it easier to do the math), on Sunday, August 3rd... I have a couple goodie bags to send out, so when you upload your project, please add a quick note saying if you prefer a poll or a random draw to see who gets the goodie bags... Thank you to everyone who's taking part - I love mood board challenges and I'm so glad I'm not the only one!
I wanted to start a thread over here about a July mood board challenge that some of us are doing... Everyone is welcome! There are lots of colours to choose from - lots of images included, so it'll be really fun to see what direction everyone takes this in This is a link to all the images on Pinterest, and this is a link to the original thread...

Love the colors and inspiration. So are we allowed to do anything with it or does it has to be a layout?

would love to play along, will try and do a LO this weekend!
I followed the 2peas mood boards on Pinterest because I loved seeing the color inspiration. However, I never read the threads and followed the projects. I hope I do mine correctly, this sounds fun

Trying to post picture for challenge but couldn't find a way to do it. I'm going to double check the admin's posts about how to do that... I know that we were able to insert a picture right into posts when the forum first started, then that was changed because of how much space it was going to take up... At that point you had to host the picture somewhere else (Flickr, etc), and then add it that way... But I think I remember reading that we have more space and so we can insert the images into posts directly... Long story short, I'll figure it out and post how

Long story short, I'll figure it out and post how I posted some layouts on another thread yesterday and here's what I learned; you can upload a photo directly using the "Add Attachment" button on the upper right but it will always be scaled down to something like 100x100 which is really small and really works more for a siggy. Since I was trying to share photos that I already had on my SB.com gallery, I just ended up using the "Insert Image" button and pasting in the URL from SB.com for it. Love the navy and orange in the moodboard! Wish I had checked this out sooner since I doubt I'll have time tonight to create something to post on 31st. Great layouts ladies!

Enjoyed this challenge! I used the mood board colors to make my first mini canvas. I need to figure out where to upload it so I can link it back here.

Yes, we're good to add photos directly into posts per the Admin If we ever do get close to using up space on here, the Admin mentioned that we can clear out old images then... We'll figure that out when/if the time comes... So we can either inset your photo directly using the "Add Attachment" button, or by hosting somewhere else and inserting it that way... If you want more info about how to do that, in this thread, Disneypal shares a bunch of instructions - how to insert, how to resize, etc...

A little reminder of the different ways to add a picture to your post Both options can be accessed from at the end of a page or the end of the thread - that's where I've taken these screen shots from... Use "Quick Reply" if you have your picture hosted somewhere else, like Flickr, Photobucket, your blog, a scrapbooking site... Your image will have an URL attached to it - sometimes you'll have the choice of different sizes, each with their own URL... Choose the picture (and size if you have the choice), you want, and copy and paste that URL... Use "Reply" if your picture is on your computer and you want to post it as an "Attachment"... You can upload up to three attachments to a post, and each attachment can be up to 1MB in size...
