Sometimes I find a one layer card to be quite hard to make. I made this card today and I'm really happy with the results. Do you struggle w/ one layer cards.

Yes I do struggle with one layer cards. They just don't seem finished and I end up adding a layer! Your card is very pretty and cheery.

I don't create single layer cards either. Why? Because I'd never be able to get it to look ok when I stamped the image. It's less for me to stress about if I make layers!

I love that card! That alphabet set and the new inks are on my SU wish list.

I make more one layer cards now that I have a Misti. Before I worried (and failed) to get things lined up straight. But the truth is I love layers - lots of layers. Besides why should I have all this stash if all I'm going to use is one piece of card stock?

Cute card!
I, too, struggle with one layer cards because I feel like it's not done or strangely that I cheated somehow. And I fear the receiver will think 'pft, no effort there, she really didn't care.' And honestly, who would say that??!!! Nobody that I would send a card to, but there you have it - my crazy, mixed up mind.

Cute card. Sometimes my cards are almost one layer so I guess that doesn't count. Even my father's day card was almost one layer but I cut out the greeting and raised it. Maybe I have a new style. Almost OLC!
