I don't know what it is like for anyone else. I do know what happened to me today. I had a whole bunch of coupons on my phone. There was a 40% off one thing, 25% of everything and others. I went to the counter and the person helping me said which oneS do you want to use. I said, "Let's use the 25% off and see where it gets us." Used it and THEN SHE SAID, "What about the 40% off one thing?" I looked at her like WTF? "Really?" She said, "Oh yes, swipe to the other screen and use the 40% off one too." I was speechless. She also said you can use the coupons as many times this week as you want. I looked at here again like she had 3 heads and asked her "They don't expire after you have used them?" "Nope you can use them as many times this week as you like" with a smile. I don't know if this applies to anywhere else. I know it does at my Michaels. I may go back for more if I find something else I want. I was very happy today!!!

i always have good luck at Michaels too. I know others on this board don't have the same luck we do. I used to take my kids and use the paper coupons when I needed multiples of things.

Mine will only let me use one coupon per day and I can't do back to back transactions. But I've been known to take the items to my car and "forget" to purchase something.
My M's will also take competitor coupons. I went round and round with a cashier about this and the sign was posted right above her head. She called the manager and yes, they do take competitor coupons. The manager was so embarrassed that her worker was hateful to me and giving me the hassle that she gave me an extra 10% discount.

Official Michael's policy is that you can use ONE TYPE of coupon at each transaction: so you can use one % off entire purchase, one % off individual item, and one $5 off $25. I emailed corporate to clarify because the store I shopped at was not honouring the proper coupon policy.
I'm surprised the coupons don't expire after one use; the last time I shopped there (a couple of months ago for something for my DD's birthday) the coupon left my phone as soon as I used it.

One coupon sku per transaction where I am... So if I have two -40% coupons that have different skus I can use them during the same transaction, if they are the same sku (basically copies), then it has to be different transactions...
Michaels is the worst at explaining or following policy (IMO)... Different locations and staff always do it differently... Took three customers to explain it to the two cashiers and one manager when I went today... They were sure that there was a time window (between 9-1), for the coupon even though it didn't say that on the coupon and the register took it... Think they thought we all were in cahoots - they kept trying to cancel the coupon discount and charge us regular price...

I thought they used to. I asked if I were done with coupons for the week and she said, "no, I can use them over and over all week long". Those were her exact words...so they must have been losing money only offering one coupon a week maybe?

Elannah, I think they want the coupons to work all week. I haven't ever had an online coupon disappear yet. I go often.

I can reuse mobile coupons but have never been able to combine coupons, ever, in either state I lived in.

As someone already said, you can use more than one coupon, as long as they are different and you have at least as many items as you have coupons. I've been able to do this for years. Love my M's.

I'm really surprised you could use two coupons in one transaction. It wasn't even my idea to do so, she asked me!!! I paid with 2 twenties and got change from it. Two coupons in one transaction. Bizarre. But hey, I am still looking!!!

a great trick with the one-time coupons is: do a screen shot and just show the screen shot for them to scan. I started doing that after michaels had their BS one-time coupons. it works each time.

I saw recently that Joanns and AC Moore will give 10% and 15% respectively to military - those who did serve or are serving. They both have signs that say it is for military past and present. But for some reason they also take family member ID cards even though they are not military. I have a state veterans ID that they accept but my family doesn't have any type of card to use Still I saved 15% at AC Moore yesterday.

I saw the military one at Joanns recently. I was so glad that it is going to be all the time I thought. I think you had to do it in the store.

I'm really surprised you could use two coupons in one transaction. My closest store is a stickler about this too, one coupon per visit.

My local M's will only let me use one coupon per day. They take JoAnn's coupons, but then won't take my Michaels coupon. They are pretty bitchy about it, too.
I no longer shop at either M or J's. It's just easier to buy on Amazon. And usually I can find a sale. I looked at a punch one time, but didn't want to pay that price. I got an email from Amazon a week later with a sale price offer.
