I have a dozen classes in my Big Picture Classes account. I know they need to be downloaded before July 31, but I have no idea how to download them. I haven't been able to find any directions on the old BPC site or the new BPC/Studio Calico site.
Does anyone have info or a link for me?

This is the link to the "old" site where your classes are. Use your login and password. Most of the classes have been zipped for easy download. I am not sure if this includes the videos, I have been getting sporadic emails about the videos available at the link in the email. The zipped files do NOT include the message boards or the gallery. I repeat the zipped files do NOT include the message boards or the gallery. Some of the classes are being transferred to the new site (more on that in the next paragraph) and some have reverted back to their old teachers. PLEASE get a screen shot of your class lists OR receipts OR some kind of proof you took and paid for your previous classes. Cathy Zielske (she is just getting her class site up and running) has offered one of her classes to former students. You will need proof of registration the details are here. She is a super duper AWESOME kind of lady to go to this trouble for us. If I recall correctly, she even shot new videos for us. The new site, sigh, I was under the impression they sent you a special code for your transferred classes. I looked into it further and discovered, to my complete embarrassment, that you will get the special code when you have registered at their new site vs having it already emailed to you. FYI-the old site no longer has any employees, if your email it, there will be no answer. In essense it is a ghost site that will disappear on July 31. I do not know if this means the minute it becomes the 31 or if the last minute of the 31 it will disappear. It has also been stressed that any email that the powers to be have sent you were sent to the email on record at the old site. I hope this has been helpful. I encourage anyone to leave any info or post question here to help everyone out that are still working to download their classes. I have a few questions of my own 1. Has anyone been able to get the video links to work? (they were sent to your email on record) I made a half hearted attempt and am looking for a bit of guidance concerning this matter before I attempt it again. 2. Has anyone accessed their classes on the new site? Are the galleries and message boards for the old site on the new site? |

At the top, there is a yellow box with the following:
Click here to download ALL content
from this classroom as a single ZIP file
Note: does not include gallery images.
Note: video link(s) will be provided by email for download, and are not included in ZIP folder.
This will download the zip file. When you open the zip file, you will have all videos and pdfs if applicable.

If they do not, does this mean they are going to the new site? And then for those on the new site- do I just sign up and log in? or do I need a class code or something? I know I read about this but had trouble before and gave up. I know I am asking questions that I know have been asked, I just can't find what I need to get my classes and am getting irritated.Thank you all for your help. |

I don't know about the new site. I had downloaded all the pdfs from the Design your Life class...even though it is on the new site. I refuse to sign up for the new one. Hopefully someone else can help on that. Im going to see if I can find the list of the classes that transferred over to the new site.

Do I need a membership in order to enjoy my previously purchased classes from the original BPC site?
Nope! Once you receive your unique activation code within the next couple of weeks, your classes will be stored on your account and you can access them at any time, whether you have a membership or not!

How can I access the classes I previously purchased from Big Picture Classes?
If you are looking for your classes from our previous site, please visit my.bigpictureclasses.com. Some of your previous classes will be migrated to this new platform in the coming months. Please keep an eye on your email for information regarding that transition. This content will stay live using your old log in and password until July 2015.
All students who purchased classes that do transfer over to the new site will receive a unique activation code via the email address associated with your Big Picture Classes account. Once you set up a new account on the site, and follow the instructions in your email, your past classes will appear under your classrooms tab. You do not need to purchase a BPC membership to access your previously purchased classes.
