They always say July is the time to start, and I never do, leaving myself stressed out in late Nov/early December trying to get them done. I am determined to start earlier this year.
Anyone else do their cards in the summer?
Anyone have any design ideas yet?

The parts for mine are done. I just need to put them together and put the labels on the envelopes. I started awhile ago because I colored two images, die cut one and then sponged the base. So, all of the steps took me awhile. I also stamped an image on the envelope and got those colored in too.
I've figured out what is going in the inside. I have to print/cut those, then mount those too. If I don't do it in the summer it doesn't happen!

I have done a few cards here and there. In the past I've boys made a lot of one card. This year I want to make several different cards.

I don't start making them this early, but I do try to start thinking about the design. I just got into embossing this year and have a couple of cute Christmas folders, so I'm going to try and incorporate those designs into the cards. I still have tons of Christmas patterned paper that I should use up, but if I know me, I will be shopping for new PP!

I guess I should start stalking pinterest for some inspiration.  I would like to get started in July. For the past two Christmases I used the Anna Griffin card kits to make mine. Everyone loved them, and they are beautiful, but I can't use that a third year...got to switch up the style a bit. So I was thinking about coming up with something on my own, but just as elaborate. |

I've made 40 so far. I would have made more, but I seem to have messed up my stamp when I cleaned it.

I'm still making Graduation cards! 7 down 3 to go!!! Then I have to move on to birthday and baby cards/projects for our 1st great nephew who is due in a few weeks...

I'm hosting a Christmas stamp-a-stack the first day of August. This is the earliest I'll ever have started on Christmas cards and I'm really excited. My goal is to have a Christmas card event from August to December. In the past I'm always rushing in December to make my cards and I don't like it. Now I hope to have all my cards finished and mailed by Thanksgiving.

I need to start on my cards I'm in the process of creating a stamp in the mail club for my Christmas Stamp-a-Stacks 5 month series. I know I'll have a lot of interest from my out of town clients. I'm taking a break from thank you cards and starting on more Christmas cards today. I made some in January and February and want to add to them. Ok, I have to add to them since I've bought so many new Christmas stamps, dies and papers!
