I feel like I have to turn in my girly-girl card, but I must confess that it's none of the above.
It used to be earrings, but I've even strayed away from those lately.
Now, turn me loose in a scrapbook store . . .

Shoes. To make it worse, it seems to be a family addiction. Between me, DH & my 20 year old DD, we own enough shoes to take care of a small country.

None of the above. Digital scrapbooking supplies, or before I was digital then paper scrapbooknig supplies, now that I could probably bankrupt myself buying. That and going out to eat.

We are on a Refugee site that was formerly "First and foremost a scrapbook store" LOL so I should have known. My poison was scrapbook supplies but I have enough for my own LSS. And i am good for a million years until PRIMA comes out with new stuff!

Same here.
I DESPISE spending money on shoes or handbags. HATE it! They are just not important to me. I have about 3 pairs of shoes for work, a pair of runners and a pair of boots. My mum recently gave me several pairs of hand me down shoes which has doubled my stocks. I have a few old handbags but only one handbag that I actually use, and I use it every single day. When that one dies I will buy a new one and use that until it too dies.
If I were about 15kg lighter I might be interested in buying clothes, but at the moment that doesn't interest me either.
I don't really scrap much any more, so that's no longer my poison.
I don't wear any jewellery so I'm not spending money there either.
The thing that I spend money on is cooking magazines and cook books, and food to make new recipes. That's about all - boring hey!

I have a seventeen foot deep walk in closet in which my guy friends asked if my "collection" would fit when I moved in lol.
My friends call me the shopping ninja. I heart all of the above! I have most recently developed a love for Kate Spade bags. I got my first one over a decade ago and I keep adding to the collection.

None of the above for me as well. I hate to shop and does my 17 yo DD (she will shop for dresses and accessories though).
If I had to pick one, maybe kitchen gadgets but even that isn't over the top.

Maybe you need to offer an online support group for us over achievers with our credit cards? Dave Ramsey worked for about a week for me. Then I gave up.

I love shoes, handbags and jewellery--antique and vintage pieces are my favourites.
My engagement ring is made of a vintage emerald cut diamond that is visually flawless. Because it was vintage, dh got a fabulous deal on it. He reset my diamond into an 18k white gold band with a tension set mounting. I also have a few vintage pieces from both of my grandmothers. I inherited my dad's mother's jewel box and all her costume jewellery. My mom hated my granny, so she threw out the box and all the jewellery while I was away at school. Thankfully I kept my favourite pieces of Granny's with me.
I inherited Granny's princess ring. My dad saved us his money and bought this ring for his mom when he was six. He didn't realize how expensive the ring was compared to what he saved, but his father paid for the rest. His father died soon after that, so that ring meant so much to Granny and my father.
I have such a problem wearing rings because of the swelling in my hands. The sides of the princess ring are beautiful. I'm going to have the shank removed and wear the ring like a pendant. The design of the ring will be more visible, and I'll get a lot more use out of the piece.
I have size 10 feet and have always had a hard time finding shoes that fit and are comfortable. I have gotten some great deals on shoes and have shoes for every occasion. My weight fluctuates, so I tend to stay with basics for clothing. I use handbags, scarves/pashminas and shoes to change up my looks.
I love handbags. I have been given some nice bags, and I have found a lot of great deals at Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxx/Marshalls and outlet stores.

I wish we had a Nordstrom let alone a Rack. I mean that would be heaven on earth! We have The Bay and that's it. Not a great department store...it is better but not great.

I tend to get fixated on one certain specific thing at a time and have to work hard at not allowing myself to get carried away with it. Currently I'm searching for the perfect pair of white jeans. I have 6 pairs so far....but none of them are quite right even though I thought they were at the time I'm trying hard to tell myself they're good enough and I don't need another pair

I have a nice pair of white capris. They fit perfectly. The vanity sizing makes me feel good too but they are very nice. I have a top I love and the colours in it are royal blue, red and white. Ok it's very pretty but I need some pants to wear it with so I am back to the petite store to get something else to wear with it. I have another top that is pretty and it is pink and green and teal. It has a tulip on it. It is very pretty too. I CAN'T FIND IT! I need some pink pants to go with it. Maybe I have some teal ones that will match but pink would be cute too. The pink in it is fuchsia and I love pink as much as teal. I don't honestly need 2 new pairs of pants but I could be talked into it.

Shoes, clothes and jewelry, expensive purses don't interest me. I've cut back considerably on my shoe and clothes shopping since retiring but I'm sure DH would say the cut wasn't near deep enough. In my defensive I only buy things when there's a really good sale. I love walking in my closet and having a variety to choose from.
I blame my mom for my addiction, she's 86 and she still likes to shop for clothes.

I was going to buy a lace outer blouse today to wear with something sleeveless. Just found a perfectly good one. New with tag. I was thinking I would need another white cardigan as they are my sweaters of choice. Just found another one. I thought I needed a cream cardigan I mean it's cream...yup in the closet. Dresses and dresses too. Oh dear. No more shopping for me!

I don't like having too many clothes, shoes, jewelry or purses. I guess I'm not a girly girl in this way.
My house is simple, too, with minimal decor.
The only areas of my life where I'm extravagant are scrap supplies and books. This is where my money goes.

camera gear and camera bags. I carry a purse until it wears a hole in the bottom or the strap breaks. They I buy another $12 special. Last one survived 6 years.

Ohhh Cameras are a fun addiction. I went to wedding in April and the "photographer" aka the bride's son had about what my dad called 20,000 worth of equipment. That to me is pretty amazing. Plus it's fun!!!

Digital scrapbook supplies, books, eating out at a cafe whilst I am out shopping. I actually take time out on Thursday evenings and go to Meadowhall - shopping mall - near where I work. Book shop then food court and I'm sorted for a couple of hours. The others at home can fend for themselves on a Thursday.

Oh, oh.... Handbags are my love. Well, that and high end makeup. BAHAHA!! On my wishlist now: Hayley (MZ Wallace)
It is nylon, with leather trim. So light, and can be worn as a crossbody. MZ Wallace is not a huge chain, they only have a few stores, but do sell to Nordstrom. It has tons of pockets, and is great for Moms.

Definitely not purses. I own two purses - a small black one and a large black one, both over 10 years old.
My real weaknesses are books and eating out.

I am sure I have little cardigans in every color.
I have enough scrapbook supplies to last a lifetime.
If money was unlimited, I'd have a lot more purses. I have several nice ones, but I am just too frugal to buy more.

Not shoes or purses for me either. I have had the same purse for about 2 years now. Searching for a new one but I despise purse shopping and I refuse to pay exorbitant prices for them. Hence the reason I hate shopping for them. I feel they are overpriced! My weakness is t shirts. Cute, soft, t shirts. With sayings or logos or without. I find amazing deals at Value Village all the time. I got an Abercombie shirt for 2.00. It was brand new with tags on too! Retail price? 25.00! I also got a few good deals on some Aeropostle shirts too. My other weakness is kids clothes! I cannot go into any store and not leave without seeing a cute dress or nice shirt for my kids. My DH tells me all the time to stop buying for the kids, but I just can't. I think my son has more clothes than I do!

CLOTHES!!! I love clothes and even more so since I have had to buy new sizes due to weight loss. It's a lot more fun now, but I liked clothes before as well.

Hands down, shoes. I love them. I have close to a hundred pair. And yes, I do wear most of them fairly frequently through out the year. The exception is a couple of pair of really dressy shoes reserved for weddings or really formal events.
DH and I are going to Vegas in the fall. I love shoe shopping in Vegas. They have styles I would never find here in Indiana. I already have my shopping budget set and expect to bring home three or four new pair. Can't wait!
