Did you take any photos of the Super Moon? I took a couple - they aren't great because I didn't have a tripod (reminder to self, get a tripod). But I was still pretty happy with them. I like how you can see the craters near the bottom. I have a Canon Powershot XS50 Show me your photos !

Good news for those that missed the July full moon! The full moon on August 10th will be the closest the moon will be to earth this year. So you have a chance to get out there and photograph it! I missed July's full moon because I was traveling and didn't have my tripod. Hopefully, the August 10th moon will have nice, clear skies. This was taken in January of this year.

Those are awesome shots!
I was in SLC for the August super moon. Driving down the freeway I could see it coming up over the mountains and it was incredible. Unfortunately, I was there on business and didn't have my camera.
