I think someone has posted about this before but because of the pop ups and redirects to the App Store, I can't search.
As soon as I bring up the mobile 2peasrefugees site, the site changes and I get sent to the App Store. Any idea how to stop it?

I've been having this issue, too. And only on this site. Gonna go delete those cookies and hope it works.

Unfortunately deleting cookies doesn't work for me. It seems to only happen when I am logged into this site though. :-(

Thanks for asking because this has been happening to me for the last 3 days, and it is driving me nuts! This is the first this has ever happened to me but it is only on this site. There has got to be a glitch somewhere on the forum or something. I hope it can be fixed! Cookies don't work.

I looked it up on Apple Support, and it sounds like it's a hack that's coming through the website you're on. In our case, that's ProBoards. I'm thinking it should be reported to them every time it happens. Mine directs me to the App Store for a game.

I assumed it was a redirect because of whatever add was in the banner at the top.

I responded on the other thread too. I did some searching and reading; this problem has been around in varying degrees for a while. Deleting cookies and all those suggestions won't help because it seems to be a problem with coding embedded into the ads. Most companies who contract for ad support don't allow this but some services do it anyway. I often see control. kochava. com (spaces left in URL so it won't make a link) before I get redirected to the app store.
I think ProBoards has to be the one to handle this, so we need to let them know it's happening and our admin could also contact them to see what they can do to stop this problem.

Yes, I agree. admin will need to take a look at our threads and see if she can make any progress with Pro Boards on her end. I reported the content but they directed me to the Support Forums instead.

Go to Serttings->Safari->Advanced and turn off JavaScript. This works for me but then I have to go back and turn it back on for other websites I use.

I need to know, as well, as mine does the same thing, only just when I'm clicking around, because I keep my page open all the time.

This is a fairly widespread problem, which is caused by malicious adverts. The ultimate responsibility is with the advert networks who provide the ads to Proboards (and elsewhere) but to deal with it Proboards will need to identify the responsible advert(s). There is nothing I can do myself, all the details need to be reported on the Proboards support forum, and I have created a thread there for you to use: support.proboards.com/thread/554962/frequent-redirects-app-storeTo help track down the problem ads they will need as many details as possible: Date/time of redirect What device you're using Whether you were viewing the full site or mobile version Where you're located, as ads are often distributed regionally Details of any ads you can see on the page before the redirect kicks in (a screen shot even better!)

Thank you admin. It happens so much to me lately, it would be making many, multiple posts to that thread. Oh dear!

support.proboards.com/thread/554962/frequent-redirects-app-storeJust a reminder to post any redirects you've been having to the link above. I'm still regularly experiencing this issue and compiled a small list of my occurrences. It sure would be nice to get it to stop. What I usually do is get a screen shot of both the banner advertisement at the top of the board and the website or App Store app I get redirected to. That way I have the date, time and all other pertinent info to help the techs locate the issue. Most of my occurrences are happening when the advert for Harry's is up.

Do you know how to do that on an iPad?

PatterPress the Home and Power buttons simultaneously to take a screen shot on your iPad. Silly me. I forget it's like my iPhone. Can you tell I am new to an iPad? LOL! Thanks for the help!
