I'm really enjoying the Celebrate Pride filter...I love seeing my Facebook friends' photos with the rainbow filter and love seeing how many people are Celebrating Pride weekend here in Toronto as well as the US Supreme Court ruling!
(if you don't know what I'm talking about, just put Celebrate Pride in the Facebook search window!)

My feed, for the most part, is very quiet. A lot of my friends are Mormon and conservative... On the bright side, I have not seen anything hateful or negative.
I do have some friends who are celebrating... And I'm in the part boat with them!!

Yes!!! And those that have a different point of view are not posting, or are being very polite.
It's like this often, I don't see half the crazy stuff mentioned here.

How do you apply the filter to a photo?

Yes! And I joined my family in the rainbow celebration, everybody "liking" all the posts of colorful graphics and joyful sentiments.

How do you apply the filter to a photo? It's directly through Facebook. They have a link you can use and it does it automatically.

I'm seeing lots of rainbow filters and I love it. Although, my super conservative Baptist cousin posted a link to the Texas govenor encouraging Texas residents to stand by the first amendment regarding their religious freedoms, blah, blah, blah. I hate knowing that people I love are so opposed to the LGBT ruling...I just can't fathom that anyone could be against LOVE.

One of the smartest ideas of the gay pride and marriage equality movements was to adopt the rainbow of colors as a symbol. There are so many creative ways to use it (such as the ones posted by @scrappower above), and it expresses the acceptance of diversity in such a broad way, including racial and ethnic diversity as well. Besides, the pretty colors make people feel happy!

enjoying it but it is making it hard to tell my friends apart based on a quick view of their profile picture!

Mine is fairly colorful but since I don't even have a profile picture I don't assume anyone who didn't change theirs doesn't support equality. I also don't see the crazy stuff others do

awash in rainbows and I love it. If I have friends who are upset they are not taking to their Facebook page to express their unhappiness with the ruling.

Really, it makes you feel sick? That suggests to me that for you, it's more about your personal feelings toward gay people than it is about politics or rights. Sickening.

People I never would have thought are posting the most disgusting things. A friend of mine posted "well, it looks like all it takes is a Supreme Court ruling to figure out who to unfriend". And it's the truth! A kid I went to high school with posted a vile term for gays having sex and I immediately unfriended. Some people are just disappointing.
