I just posted a thread in general scrap booking and rather than repeat it here I am asking that you take a look in hopes that maybe you might be able to answer my question.

There are so many things I just don't understand about the business side of my crafting. I just go with the flow. I can see people bailing now because papercrafting is in a slump. I went garage "saleing" today and talked to 2 young ladies (they're all young anymore) who used to scrap and now go digital. It is difficult when you run up against time and space. I am a big fan of the stamp and die feature, I got hooked at a CKC by Local King Rubber Stamp. I don't know how they make them but they are a nice young couple to do business with.

I love their stamps and dies. I shopped at their booth three times when I was at CKC in Portland!

I found out about a rubber stamping convention held yearly about an hour from me (Akron, OH)....I decided to go this spring. Totally loved it! The company I think that sponsors it also hosts a scrapbooking convention which was just a few weeks ago. Both events had a great turnout and I was surprised at all of the companies that sold dies with matching stamps (I love my Sizzix!). Don't be distraught.....I'm the only one in my family that attempts to mail cards for events like birthdays but going to events like these lets me know there are others out there with the same passion.
