Looking for a recommendation for an eyeliner that actually lasts! Would prefer a pencil over liquid. I've been using a cream pencil eyeliner by Maybelline, but lately it hasn't been lasting very long at all.
Thanks for any suggestions!

Urban decay 24/7 liner pencils. They're all I use. It's close to midnight here...I put it on at 9:30 this morning and it's still going strong.

I use a dark eyeshadow (love Urban Decay Blackheart from the Naked 3 palette) applied with a liner brush (Bobbi Brown) - prime your eyelids first.

Urban decay 24/7 liner pencils. They're all I use. It's close to midnight here...I put it on at 9:30 this morning and it's still going strong. The girl at Ulta recommended Stila- have you tried that one? It stayed on, but it started to break-up a little by the afternoon. It didn't smear or rub off, but not sure if I like it. Good thing is I can take it back. Just wondering if Urban Decay would be better. |

I hadn't noticed it flaking on me, but I don't wear it all day. You could always try their tester at the store and wear it for the day to see how it lasts for you. As an aside, I also use the Urban Decay eyelid primer which may help my eye makeup stay fresher all day... |

I use the Stilla liquid liner, it's like a pen, cat think of the name. It's the only one I use and it stays on great Ian's is easy to apply. I tried an Urban Decay one but had an allergic reaction to something in the liner.

Mac has one that lasts more than 24 hrs! Bought it for dd as it is also sweatproof (and it is definitely sweat proof and water proof). She fell asleep after a long day of dancing in 2 performances, woke up the next morning and it was still perfect.

After months of raccoon eyes from my beloved Cover Girl self. Sharpening pencil, I just switched to Make Up Forever. Having to sharpen it is a pain, but it does last.

Urban Decay 24/7 is so far the best I have tried but even this isn't perfect. I get a few hours out of it.

Pencils and gels are just too thick and tend to migrate/smear, even with the best primer. They also tend to look harsh if not applied precisely. Lining with a darker shade of eyeshadow lasts all day and has an overall 'softer' look. L |

I really like Too Faced Bulletproof liner. But it's a chunky pencil. It also has a smudge tip on the other end that puts all other smudge tips to shame. If smudging is your thing!
