LavenderLayoutLady 's recent discovery of how much she's been enjoying embossing folders has me thinking I don't use mine enough. So I thought maybe we could share what our favorite ways are to use them. How do you use yours? I have a folder that embosses a Polaroid frame and it's the perfect little accent to highlight a 2x2" sized photo. I just trim it out of the cardstock after embossing.
I also like to use some of the smaller patterned ones as backgrounds for my cards. It's a nice way to jazz up the background.

I use mine to create some texture to layers on my pages, as well as for cards. I like my QK 2x2 die embossers, they're the perfect size for "clusters," and for punching small shapes and tags. Embossed paper is fun to ink too.

I never use them, hanging head in shame...
I need to get them out.

I have trouble using them, but am determined to start using the more.

I'm loving this thread!
So far, I've been embossing thick patterned paper, then punching it out in flowers and butterflies. It adds that extra something to make my flowers that I like as much as store bought Prima flowers.
I also have made embossed arrows, by fussy cutting them from embossed paper.
And I've layered squares & rectangles of embossed paper with non-embossed busy patterned paper.

This is a great thread. Keep the ideas coming. I like to emboss my punched flowers and leaves. I use the Quickutz 2x2 embossers too.
