I posted several times about some business woes we have been dealing w/ for 1 year and 1 day now. We are in the midst of a lawsuit w/ a very wealthy person who was finally deposed, and our attorney is cautiously optimistic! Since he (the wealthy person) filed in federal court it makes it more expensive & hard to fight. My DH sat through the entire day and couldn't say a word. He is debriefing with the attorney on the long drive home (about 150 miles), and was in good spirits. It is the best I could hope for.
Perhaps we will finally be paid the money we are owed? File a countersuit for defamation of our business? Which has happened evidently. Maybe DH won't in such a foul mood? He is deservedly upset, and has lost his enthusiasm for his passion.
It has been really tough the last 5 months as we have been living on savings as we've not taken salary from the company, I thankful that we sold a rental house last fall and have it for this tough time. We have been able to make all our bills and pay our employees. So we are not in debt yet, but it has been looming for us personally and for the business.
